Something a little flashy

Thanks for the video tip. I should have tried that but I'm still fairly new to this Canon Rebel T6 camera and I'm no techno-geek. Looked in the owners manual and that might just be the way to go. Shoot video and get a still at just that moment. So there I was with all that technology in my hand except I'm pretty much a neanderthal when it comes to modern technology. Maybe now I can FINALLY get some muzzle flash shots !

The wall with the KelTec was old egg. The black rubber is what we have now. The egg crate was quitter but not safe, it won’t stop bullets. The black rubber will stop just about anything.

Building is bare concrete block, and numerous people have tested it's stopping ability, so that part is fine. :D
I'm just thinking of something we might be able to do inexpensively that'll cut down on the noise a bit.

You can use ceiling tile. You can get it at Home Depot for under 60 cents a square foot. Just glue it to the wall.

you mean the cheap stuff that feels like compressed used newspaper and shreds into a thousand pieces at the drop of a hat, and makes me cough it up for days thinking i've got mesothelioma? I'd be more inclined to shoot at it instead! :D

Way cool! The burnin' ring of fire!
Funny that you can't see the ring when you shoot it, just a flash. I had no idea it was doing that until I shot the video.

I handload my own ammo for it. I have two loads that work well, one is with VV N-110 powder, the other is H-110. The N-110 loads don't have a flash, but the H-110 loads are much louder and have the flash. Both have roughly the same velocity.
