Hey folks,
My brother gave me a K31 project he started but never finished. Still in pieces. Since he knows I like to hunt with Milsurp actions, he thought I'd like to have it. He was right! Lol.
The straight pull design is really neat and I'm impressed with the quality of the action and rifle in general. Need to source a few screws to mount the stock and a magazine (he thinks he still has one laying around). I'll try to post up some pics of what I have later.
I don't know much about K31s other than they can be nice shooters and will work on deer. That said, hoping to pick K31 shooters/owners brains here for some insight.
Any tips, tricks, words of caution unique to the K31?
K31 Hunting experiences?
Will be reloading for it and it looks like components are available. Assuming. 308 bullets? I'll need to look at my manuals, but hope to develop hunting loads using IMR 4895 or 3031 which I also use in my 303 Brit loads.
I'm sure I'll have more questions as I progress but thanks in advance!
Be well all
