Ok, here's where we are so far.

IMG_0400.JPG I have new additions. They will hold dual membership both here and the mouse gun club.
2mm pinfire single shots. One is setup for blanks, but will be easily converted to 2mm rounds later today. The other is ready to fire. I just have to order some pinfire rounds for them.

Thanks drobs.

I'm going to just post here as a placeholder now. I need to gather things for a family photo. This could take a bit

The only one I own (Again) currently. I built this one when I was 13. The first time I shot it, I didn't know how much to load so I just dumped what 'felt about right" in, and rammed the ball down-a whopping inch and a half. Egged on by my equally clueless and adolescent friends, I turned my face away from it, and fired. From a good distance, they described the fireball as 'atomic-sized'. I'm sure that first overload loosened it up, it always spit fire from the back where the breech plug joins the barrel. It did not look like this when I built it, let me assure you. I gave it to a good friend who had gotten into Muzzleloaders, who shot it for a couple years, and he gave it to another friend of ours who shot it for a while, then did some needed 'repairs' to it. The bolster for the barrel screw is a .44 case, and he 'modified' the rear sight, making it a single point, like a mid bead for a shotgun. As you can see, some other parts are missing-I have cannibalized it for repairs to other guns. There is no way this one is being shot again, though I've thought about using the stock and trigger group to build a flinter 'boot' pistol.

Something like that was given to me a while back, l took the lock off and used it to make a .22 black powder pellet gun. I always liked the British Fergusen rifles so l patterned, loosley, the pellet gun on it. To make long story short l have a breech loading percussion pellet rifle that shoots about 5 grns of 4f behind a .22 cal pellet. It s not good for much but it is fun to play with.

Jim, there aren't many rules on the NMLRA national shooting grounds. I made a back action flint pistol, right hand lock mounted on the left side backwards. You get more rifled barrel sitting back over your hand. The rear sight is now directly over wrist area so you don't see as much wiggle when shooting off hand [ which was required ]. They even allowed bullets where all the other events, except slug guns, shot RB. I don't ever remember anyone shooting bullets on the pistol line, just RB's. The back action shown looks like a 10 Ring or a Yazel, both were made for sale to the public. They were made as a percussion or FL.
