If anyone has any info about a British bulldog(I’m not even familiar with them) I’m about to pick up, I’d appreciate it.
It has a serial number of 1073 and chambered in .32s&w.
It's based on Nagant's revovers. Whether it was made by the Nagant Bros, I don't know. It appears to have a Liege mark on the back of the cylinder (third photo, about 11 0'clock) but that's about all I can tell you. Are you sure it's .32 S&W?
I would bet the caliber is in fact .320 cf which is similar but uses a heeled bullet that is the diameter of the case. Ive never heard of one of these being chambered in .32s&w. Do the chambers have throats or are they bored straight through?
Your cylinder proof mark is not English it is a Belgium mark. It is not a complete stamp but it looks closest to one that was used from 1896 to 1924 on revolvers.
