Why do you care what a PCC looks like with which mags?

It's a hell of a convenience when you have 10 mags that you can use in several guns, especially commonly used ones like S&W, Glock, Sig.

The one thing I like with the Scorpion is the stock folds, but to me it's not worth all the other idiosyncrasies the Scorpion has compared to an AR.
Who cares? You buy an AR, you have to buy AR mags. You buy an AK, you buy AK mags. You buy any of myriad rifles, you buy their mags. But you buy a 9mm carbine and suddenly it HAS to use pistol mags? I think people talk themselves into this sort of thing without actually thinking about it. I'm not going to use a carbine with 15rd mags (if given the choice), any more than I'm going to use a pistol with 30rd mags. As I said, it might be a minor convenience for some purposes but in general, I'd rather have a dedicated SMG style magazine. Yes, an rearward angled pistol mag looks goofy coming out of a rifle when the magwell is forward of the grip. Yes, it matters to me. I have both the braced Scorpion and a braced AR pistol and for a pistol cartridge setup, prefer the Scorpion.

That's kind of my thought, I'm very willing to buy Colt SMG mags, especially since I don't own a Glock so I don't have a pile of G17/G19 mags. I also think that the Colt mags do look a lot better than the Glock mags, and would be easier to load without looking on the clock.
