In my case, I carry a gun every day I am in Gods State, Florida. No need at this time to have shot anyone. So I haven't.

But knowing what happens in firing 9mm hollow points into a persons chest cavity, or a headshot is helpful, how you might respond to that activity, is a bit of an unknown factor.
If this happens indoors, a 911 call might not work out too well, as your hearing could be shot to bits!

Identify how you are dressed, who you are. And where you are. Having a pistol in your hands might be unavoidable, due to circumstances. Communicating the way I do, always, via blue tooth, is ideal, for this kind of instance.

Say for instance this shooting had happened in my favourite Breakfast place.
The attempted robbery had gone south when the criminal holding a small silver pistol, had decided to walk through the few remaining customers (2-30 pm, now closed) and take cell phones and wallets. He turned towards my Wife and me, and I shot him twice in the upper chest. He fell down, rolled on to his side, started making horrible sounds, left his gun where it fell. I kicked this weapon under my table, against the wall, we as always where sat at a booth.

The manager was stood 5 yards from me, eyes like saucers! I told her, call 911, ask for Police/Ambulances. I holstered my Glock 19. Hit my blue tooth ear piece "Call emergency" my phone called 911. Sitting down, I took a drink of water.
Do you need police? Or whatever they say. There has been an armed robbery, in this location, the robber pointed a gun at me. I shot him. My pistol is holstered, my name is XXXXXXXXXXXX I have a heart condition. Send Police and Medical Emergency people. I have a Concealed Carry License.

I put this in the form of a narrative.

Hope you all get the gist of my thoughts.

There are so many ways to look at what can go wrong, just going about your normal activities, on any given day, carrying a legal pistol, whilst having a carry license.

Look at what might go wrong, from seeing what has already gone wrong during other peoples lives, is one thing. But it can not help you too much.

If people applied that principle to all aspects of their lives (health, relationships, finance, driving, etc) and not just self defense with firearms, we would all be a lot better off.

Add a brief description of yourself so the cops/EMS recognize you.
