I'm hoping someone here can clue me in from first hand knowledge on the overall product quality of the BFR revolvers?

Perhaps compare them to stainless S&W and Ruger offerings which I am familiar with? Thank you.

Magnum research products have always been nice I’ve owned 4 different items but never a bfr but I’d bet money it’ll probably be nicer than ruger and similar or better than smith

I have the 30/30 BFR, and as for quality, I have no complaints. Very well made, and after alot of practice, a very good shooting revolver. The sites that came with the gun, were very nice, but it also comes with a scope base, that I used to put on a Leupold scope. I can tell you I also enjoy my Ruger Super Redhawk, and my 629 S&W, and each have their place. Nobody that buys a BFR, will ever say it is under built, at least in my mind.

I have a bunch of BFRs and the fit and finish is very good. Much better than your typical Ruger, and closer to an FA. They are even better when they come from their custom shop, the Precision Center. Great revolvers and the best bang-for-the-buck IMHO.

Here are a couple:
