I've bought from Sarco for many years. They have never been the fastest shipper but they've always come thru. They have a system that works for them. Once they process the order, they send it to the warehouse for shipping. It usually takes 1-2 days from getting to the warehouse (they send an email) until it ships (another email)..

I placed an order on 12/4. On 12/5 I received notice that it was "In the Warehouse". That was 13 days ago. After 7 days I sent an email asking if the order was shipped. They replied that it was in the warehouse and I'll receive notice when it ships. OK. It had been there for 7 days so it should ship any day. Yesterday, day 12, no notice. I sent an email in the morning. No response. This morning, no notice. I sent another email. No reply. Did they lose the order? are they still in business? This needed to be mailed by me for a Christmas gift. Obviously I'm not going to get it in time to mail out.

Anybody else having issues with Sarco? This is out of character for them and 14 days "In the Warehouse" is getting ridiculous.

No Sarco experience, but at this time of year, anything goes. I just waited over two weeks for a pistol coming by USPS Priority Service. Tracking info had it in the same PO location for a week with no other information than “In transit to next destination.”

Sorry. Not trying to be glib, but stuff happens around Christmas.

Never had a problem with SARCO. Ordered some stuff from them this year for the 1903A3 and a spare stock for the 96 Mauser. No issues.

i live less then 2 hours away from then, they have really gotten bad the last few years. when i go to easton pa where they are i would rather go to the crayola crayon factory then deal with them.

I ordered a complete original Enfield No4 stock, that they had advertised in Shotgun News back in 2008 along with some other stuff. When my order arrived there was no stock set. The invoice said the stock set was on back order.
I called and asked how could a stock set that was no longer in production be on back order. I was told that they had a larg crate of the stock sets but had missed placed them in the warehouse, but as soon as the located the crate the stock set would be shipped. About 9 months later the stock set showed up.

It has always (decades) been my understanding the place is large and disorganized. I even still suggest that people looking for obscure parts call them up and see. Sometimes they do have one, or will put it on a note to keep searching and weeks or months later you will get a call saying they have it, please pay.

Not surprised they just misplaced something advertised either. It is their way.

They have gotten slower and it is always worst around the holidays, I have usually order bits and bobs a couple of times a year from them for years now. The longer the list, the more likely a delay especially parts from different makes.

I also don't think that they have a real time inventory system so it is possible if you have a long list that something might have said it was in stock but like Gunny said might "be around here somewheres". Numrich ships quicker and tracks orders and inventory better but doesn't have some items that SARCO has.

Could also be that some of their stock is still in NJ warehouses too which would delay things. Not certain they moved everything to PA.

You mean, besides them shipping a "substitute" for what was ordered, with no advance warning, and then refusing to return or exchange the order?

I have had a Sarco box arrive at my door the same day an email arrived telling me there was a problem with the CC I used for that order....

Sarco is not the most organized bunch, but they have always delivered, eventually.

Yes, I received a shipping notice today.
Anyone waiting for a package from Sarco, expect a 2 week delay before it actually ships.
They said they are very busy right now.
All I wanted was an answer. I now have one.

I ordered 2 barreled sks receivers. The website said in good condition. They were pitted and rusted and far from good condition . I sent an email of my dissatisfaction and they didn't respond. I left polite but negative feedback on their site and they didn't post it. Never again!

Never had a problem with Sarco. I have been dealing with them for years.

I've ordered from them several times over the last few years. The last order was two weeks ago; five days from wherever they shipped from to Arkansas.

I have no complaints. Well, other than the search function on their web site could use a little work... but no complaints as far as buying stuff from them.

I had a pleasant surprise from Bud's. I got my Sig P226 SSE in my hands less than 24 hours after I ordered it! When the FFL called me to tell me it had come in, I was pretty shocked. It was like 20 hours!
