I remember when Colts in 9mm Steyr and .45 HP got reimported for reasons unknown to me.
Some got rebarrelled, some got rechambered, some were just kept as novelty items.

Mine are 45acp, 40 caliber, 9mm, and 380acp. I'll probably get a 22lr one day. Did Star make a 32acp? I might go for one of those if it was cheap enough and in good shape.

Spanish .38ACP and 9mm Largo were also made in 1911 type pistols.

Sounds like the only cartridge not used at some point in the 1911 is 45GAP

Unless that's what this is chambered in

A friend of mine has one of those, I was asked if I wanted to shoot it, well, there were several guys standing there what could I do? I shot it once and learned as well as I wanted what it was like. The owner shot it six times and his hand was bleeding!
