hey guys

Anybody have experience with CBC industries? Looking to order an upper from them to build as a budget AR, as I’ve spent over 2k each on the last few builds I’ve done. Time to take it easy lol.
I’ve seen good and not so good reviews online about these guys and I want to see if anyone here has ever used them or knows anyone who’s used them for their upper receivers/parts?

The stuff I see About them that seems legit is the following-

-They hire veterans as their build staff! Thumbs up
- the website is easy to use and it looks like they put effort into making it look professional
-great price point
-American made parts
-LIFETIME warranty

Anybody have a good or bad review on this company?

I bought their fluted Wylde complete upper from them a few years back.
I was very pleased with their service and product. It's solid and accurate.
I'd buy from them again.

A friend of mine recently bought an upper from them. It showed up with the hole in the gas block drilled backwards so the action could not operate. He contacted CBC and they ended up sending a new gas block, but I wasn't terribly impressed. On the other hand, my friend was the one who needed impressed, not me.

i had the same thoughts you did. veteran owned and somewhat local to me.

I bought a blemished 300 BO upper in July of 2017. The upper came and was a little rough on the machining and i had to work the action a lot where the charging handle rubbed a bit on the inside. No biggie its a blemish and to be expected. After 50 rounds or so i noticed the charging handle was hitting me in the nose.

Long story short the upper was not milled correctly and needed a smith to mill the slot where the charging handle clips in. I read and understood CBC's "warranty" that their blemishes would not affect function. After a few talks with customer service they would not honor their warranty and I had to pay for the work myself.

Bad company and I would not reccomend them. I wanted to like CBC but they will not stand beside their poorly made products

I got a blemished Blackout upper from them last summer. I have only 1 complaint about it, and zero about their service. The only “blem” issue I can find is that the dust cover will pop open if I forcefully insert the mag. Or tap the base of the mag with my hand. Accuracy is about 1 moa for supersonics, and about 2 for subs. And this is factory ammo, I have yet to hand load any for it. I ordered big and a standard charging handle with it. Eventually I will be changing the charge handle. Their’s has a very cheap feel to it, but it is functional. That is really my only complaint about it.

Wow seems like they could have just paid a little more attention on that to avoid a major issue

Not good. Seems like the low prices are not worth getting a possible bad product.

I’ve built four guns with their uppers. The last one was a 10” 300 Blackout for a pistol built for a friend’s retirement. It was a blemished upper. The only blemish was a little bit of light finish on the barrel just behind the flash hider. I only put 60 rounds through it and the gun ran great.
The others were all great guns with no trouble.
The only trouble I have had was with one upper I ordered with Hera hand rail. The parts were late coming in from Germany. They got held up in customs. They contacted me and said if I didn’t want to wait they would give me 10% off my next order. I told them I would wait. They refunded me 10% when they shipped my order .
It turned out to be a good build. It’s the third rifle from the right with the MFT buttstock.

Thanks for the insight man! I decided to order one just because of the price. Looks like mine comes with a CBC industries handguard and a spiral fluted barrel, supposedly a bear creek arsenal “bear claw” which I’ve actually heard really good things about, despite it being from a not so greatly reviewed company.

I was over on the Cal.Guns forum the first time I saw the CBC add. When I checked their site they had a great sale with free shipping. I've ordered several parts like grips, safeties and muzzle breaks and always been happy with them.
I also order from Delta Team Tactical. They are another company to look into. I have had a few issues with an item or two, but they have always made it right.
