92FS Magazines

I bought 9 Beretta 92 factory mags for 90 dollars shipped of GB just last month. Those mags are a dime a dozen.

When I bought my last 92FS, it was one of those, "Almost NIB 92FS plus 9 magazines plus holster, plus grips" deals. 3 of the mags were factory 15 rounders, 3 were Check-mate 15 round, and 3 were chrome Pro-Mag 18's I think. I haven't looked at them lately. They all worked fine! The Pro-Mag ones sounded like tin cans, but I had no complaints about the gun or the mags. My Kel-Tec Sub 2000 uses Beretta 92 mags and I ended up using the PM mags in it, along with a 30+ round one I got on GB that has no name on it, but looks and works well. All this talk about 92FS's has got me wanting one again.

I remember the G-Shcok being quite popular back in "my day," although I've always preferred an analog display, so I always wore a Timex Expedition Indiglo. (These days I wear a Citizen Eco-Drive. Solar powered so no more batteries to mess with. Been going strong EDC for 3 years now.)
no more batteries, but the capacitor will eventually die, and then you have to replace that. And amazingly enough, it looks like a watch battery

This is true. (And I'll likely just replace the entire watch.) But my most recent watch as Dakota brand watch, and I was replacing the battery twice yearly. I purchased a "Battery for Life" froma local watch store in the mall; I paid $10 and get free lifetime replacements. The inconvenience alone of having to go down to the mall (I hate malls) twice a year was worth making the switch.

Oh and by the way, thanks for the input on the magazines. I just ordered a bunch of Mec-Gars.
