Congratulations Eagle. Glad things worked out for you and you found your ideal gun. Nothing beats having the right gun to fit all your personal wants and needs. Have fun shooting!!

Ps From your previous post, that you were worried about how the gun would hold up. From what I saw of the gun and the materials used to make it, I think you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The Sig looks like a soild, tough little gun. Sig did a great job.

One thing we did appreciate about he 365 when we tested it, was the build quality. Most especially the steel sub chassis and all steel parts other than the polymer grip. Personally, I shy away from aluminum chassis firearms. I say this because I like to shoot the small guns with a lot of ammo down range. Maybe aluminum will hold up, but would not be for me.

I will start a new thread on the Grand power later. Very interested in this gun, but do not want o take away from this tread.

So I put about 100 rounds through the P365 today. No issues ( I was using Remington 9mm hollowpoints) I forget the name of the round at the moment. No issues at all. 100 rounds down range without an issue. I'm sold on this gun! Size is great, 11 rounds? Wow!

Shoot the price difference in practice ammo or take a class. Itll be better than 4 extra bullets in a gun with a history of issues.

I believe the issues are in the past, just as the issues with the R51 are. My R51 has been flawless and I believe the Sig will be also.

The CM9 , if Im not mistaken, is the smallest 9mm pistol out there ,
I could see purchaseing a P365 ... But I would keep the little Kahr ..

Myself .. Im sticking with my Glock 43 .

So now that it seems that Sig has the kinks ironed out with the P365 I'm considering one as a replacement or shared duty with my CM9. The CM9 has been flawless and I shoot it well so no complaints whatsoever. Size and weight are almost identical (I prefer pocket carry) but of course the intriguing thing is 10 rounds vs. 6. Certainly nothing wrong with the extra rounds but I question the likelihood of a scenario where 6+1 would be insufficient in my typically low threat environment. Rogue varmints are a far more likely problem. If anyone has had both I would like to know how they've compared for you regarding shootability/accuracy. Thoughts?

I would not throw away month worth of good groceries for no good reason, but if you don't mind that there is no reason not to buy the Sig.

I didn't throw my CM9 away, I added to the family. Currently however, the P365 is the head of the family. 11 rounds and a much more shootable (to me) trigger makes all the difference. I had put my CM9 in the safe and was carrying my R51. Now however, I am carrying the P365.

I do not own a Kahr CM9. I have fired it several times and thought it seemed accurate and reliable. I was not a fan of its capacity. I do own a P365. I have carried numerous pistols Colt Commander and Defender and bought the P365 last April. I just can’t say enough good things about it. I carry it with the 12+1 configuration. It’s accurate and a great shooter. I have about 2500 rounds through it. My wife bought one as well and she is lights out with it. SIG Ana’s a winner.
