Basement, away from dogs, babies and the wife. Still hard to get much done.

Garage, it's way closer than my shop and warmer

Currently I have a nice bench in my basement thanks to a certain Gunny who shamed me 8nto building one.

Previously I had a temporary setup. I’d use a Lee hand press to de-prime while watch8ng TV. I’d then clean my brass. If doing rifle I’d resize using my LCT in the garage. Then I’d reprime using a Lee hand primer again when I was bored.

After that I’d measure powder on my dining table (be single has advantages) and put the charged cases in blocks.
I’d then take them to the garage to seat the bullets.

Now I just do it all on the bench. But I have the hand press and can make up a load any place if necessary.

I designed a dedicated room into the home that we built. It was to be 8 X 10 ft but with a hiccup in the plans it turned out to be 7 X 10 ft. I have a large gun safe in there so its kind of cozy but I'm thankful to have a room thats under the alarm system and thats in a controlled environment. In the past I have had a whole bedroom, a 4ft space at the end of the kitchen, an attic and finally my own room.

My brass is stored in an adjoining store room and my casting/smelting set up is in my shop. My tumblers are set up in the garage.

I'm in the closet... quite literally! In order to get my press out of the garage, I took the only available space... the closet in the spare bedroom. Nice thing about it... the door can be secured. Since then, however, I've taken over the entire room... patience is a virtue, or so I'm told.

My house has a detached "game room"(original living space while house was built). Ceiling too low for a garage, but 20x20 open poured - concrete floor was begging for a pool table(which never gets used), the biggest 120V window A/C unit I could find, and an electric fireplace. When I started reloading, I claimed one wall for tools and my new reloading bench. My wife claimed the other three for craft storage, even though I had to build the shelves I keep my powder and primers in old cooler/refrigerators with the locks disabled and huge desiccant packs, to keep them from extreme temperature and humidity shifts.

I must be lucky. I load in the living room. Do my casting and tumbling on the porch.

4 bedroom house, empty nesters so one of the upstairs bedrooms has now become a reloading room. 2 benches, 2 shelving units, computer desk, music and a rocking chair. Locking door!

I am very blessed to have a garage that is my shop. Well don't do so much shopping any more kinda built the garage for reloading and other shop stuff. It's kinda a man cave big bench 48" t.v. space heater and all the kind of stuff we like to be around. In a nutshell it's my happy place.

Anywhere I want to as I reload on a portable castered bench.

Bench is usually "parked" in the reloading room aka "guest room" - If we need to use the guest room, reloading bench gets rolled into another location or into a closet.

We don't have basements in Texas. I reload in a storage room adjacent to my garage. I have a propane heater in there and I cut a hole in the wall for an A/C unit.

I currently reload in the basement. But the room, about a third of the basement, was designed for my hobbies when we built the house. It also has my amateur radio station in there. At the other end of the basement is my car shop, another third of the basement. The laundry, storage, and utilities are in the center third of the basement.

In the past, I've used a spare bedroom (TN), a bonus room over the garage (SC), a climate controlled garage/shop (LA), and another basement (GA).

I'd never reload in an area that was not climate controlled.

When we looked at a new house 5 years ago, it had 3 bedrooms in basement area. I looked at my wife and made the one condition, one of the 3 rooms becomes a man cave for me. Done deal. That's where I reload and go to get away from it all. Locking door that only my wife has been told where the extra key is, but I'm sure she has forgotten by now. Other 2 rooms ended up being a spare bedroom and a storage room.

Spare bedroom "was" the nursery off master BR. So,it's small.... 10X12 or so. BUT, I have two windows,woohoo. It's on a corner of the house. Wife and I moved upstairs when the 4 boys all left.....

Wife said I could have the original master BR for a gun room. I declined.... got the little nursery room just right and don't need more room. All our equipment is in shop so the machines aren't fighting for space in the loading room. It's my little quiet room.

I have a climate controlled room at one end of my shop. It has all my reloading equipment, plus it doubles as my machine shop. Do all my gunsmith work in that room. Just added/built a storage cabinet that meets the fire code. I actually could use twice the space I have (12x35), there never big enough. Need the space to add more tools.

There’s no basement in the Alamo, 1st flour reloading room for me.

I've been 4 years without a loading area. Had to go to my father's house, where he, my brother and I have a decent sized reloading area in his shop.

However, I just moved, and now have a nice bench in the garage. I'm pretty stoked to have a dedicated reloading space again.

I built a 12x12 hobby room in my garage quite a few years ago. Central heat and a/c...walls and cabinets are all white to maximize lighting. No windows, unfortunately.
I have one wall with cabinets and a 8' counter top work area to use as a catch-all and to build 1/35 scale military vehicle models.
Another wall has a 6' Seville work bench with two Hornady LnLs and a RockChucker Supreme and a Uniflow powder measure set up on it.
Another wall has a 4' bench with a RockChucker, an APS bench mounted priming system and a Little Dandy powder measure.
The fourth wall will soon be getting a 4' Seville work bench to mount a recently acquired Dillon 550 and a turret press(haven't decided if it will be a Lyman or a Redding).
All my brass is stored in the garage and my three brass tumblers are on a bench in the garage.

If I ever decide to get into casting bullets, that will happen in the two car garage.
