2nd what bannockburn said. SIGs fit me the best, far better that Glock.

In my case I went with S&W M&P full size and Shield, they fit me better than either Glock or SIG.

Which pistol combo would you prefer and believe is better?
You're comparing apples to pears. The Sig 365 is closer to the Glock 43. The Sig P320 subcompact is roughly the same size as a Glock 26. Which would I prefer? Probably the Sig's assuming they both had had their respective, well known problems repaired or were new enough versions not to have them. Which is better? None of them. They're all good handguns.

I shoot Glocks better than the 320 series (though the XFrame with flat trigger makes it close) and found the 365 too big for pocket and too small for a good belt gun, as it conceals the same as my 26 and I shoot the 26 better.

So 17 and 26 is a clear preference for me.

I like that the Glocks use a common magazine and are virtually the same gun other than size. I prefer a full size for home defense and I haven't found a reason to replace the G26 for my CCW.

My G26 with Crossbreed Supertuck.

My G17 dedicated home defense/bedside gun.

So do the comparable Sigs. A P320 and P320 subcompact can use the same magazines. The OP should be using a Glock 17 and 43 as his "combo" if he wants to compare similar guns.

I'll take a Glock 19 and 43.

If forced to stick with these brands I agree.

My actual current carry combo is the M&P equivalent - 2.0 Compact and Shield. The former I'll carry in the woods, truck, camper trailer or under a coat/sweatshirt, or if I have a particular reason for greater than normal concern, and the latter would be more of my around town EDC. I do think having two or three different sizes of related handguns has some advantages - similar sights, controls, etc., but you can carry whatever is best suited for a particular environment.

Brand loyalty aside though, the glock would be a better pair. I love and have plenty of the 22x series sigs. But the two sigs don't share a manual of arms, mags, or holsters nor anything else. The glocks can use the same things. And a few internal parts and pins, with the sig Even the light rail is different and would require an adapter if one wanted a light.
Maybe you feel a 320 is better than a 17. I wouldn't argue either way. Both fine guns.
Or a 365 is better than a 26 (which a google search would argue with from what I've seen)
But as far as the op asking about a pair? I dont see "hating Glock" as a compelling arguement as many have stated. Personally If I were picking a random pair of guns with nothing in common for myself it would contain none of the four mentioned above. But if pair means any commonality at all I dont see any way but the one.

I voted 17/26 but I actually chose a 19 over a 17 because in Colorado I'm limited to 15 round magazines and I don't see any point in buying a less concealable gun that doesn't have a higher capacity than a 19.

My primary criteria for a carry gun has always been compactness, commonality and compatibility. The 19 and the 26 are identical in terms of operation in fact when I do classes with both I occasionally have to remind myself which gun I'm carrying and they will both operate with a Glock 19 magazine. The 26 is also ideal for home carry

I have all four (and more). I'm really liking the P365 as a newer CCW, but I would like mag compatibility between my duty and sub-compact pistols and the G17 and G26 meet that criteria. If you went with the P320 and their sub-compact size, it would be a little more comparable. I shoot them all well, but I've found the compact sizes (G19 and P320 Compact) better all-round size handguns.

Commonalty is good as you'll likely do more training with your full size (speaking of most classes), and for me, my CCW's just don't get the same amount of rounds through them. It's nice having similar platforms for consistency. Out of those four, I would probably choose the G17 and P365, knowing magazines are completely different. One carries better for me, and the other is a better duty gun for me.

The Glocks being able to share mags is nice.

Other than that, assuming they all go bang every time, it's just personal preference.

Whatever fits your hand better and/or you can shoot better would be the right pair for you.

I'm not calling one combo better than the other, but I chose my preference.
