Will a 6.5 Creedmore change your life

Quote for us where I have written Anything "bad" about Any cartridge.

And the 6.5 Creedmoor is just a lower capacity Swede - in a diaper.

Ya might suggest shoppin' in the Men's Department, the next go-round...

Reminds me of the old saw about fat girls and mopeds.

The 6.5 Creedmagic fits in a diaper

And that’s just this thread. You dislike the round, you dismiss with broad strokes all who speak well of it, and every thread that mentions it elicits comments from you about the superior everything of your favorite pet round based solely on your own criteria while discounting any other criteria or real world experience.

And so you fail to demonstrably discredit the Creedmoor at every turn, leaving only your attacks aimed at those who shoot it. Ad hominem is your course at every turn; nekid wraslin vs ribbon twirlin, real man recoil vs butt-hurt babies, true hunters vs arrogant newbies. And it just never ends. Let go of the stone.

All, in fact, true.

And...?

Are facts and the truth now hate speech?

Propagating your psychosis? Is not required.

If you enjoy the "new born" 6.5, that has 10% less case capacity and performance than the 125 year old Swede, but is "magically" better by way of fitting into a short action, and is no fun to shoot by even some women...?

Well then, who is stopping you?

Seems the "arena of ideas" is not a place you are comfortable in.

Ok so looking at the traditional ballistic metrics on paper 6.5 Creedmoor looks good compared to legacy cartridges but primarily because of low drag bullets. In some cases, the rifles most popular for the legacy cartridges have lower twist rates which won't stabilize the longest ELD bullets with tangent ogives and boattail bases, but there has got to be more than a barrel twist rate change to make a cartridge outstanding. Some of the other distinctions not readily apparent just looking at ballistics tables would be the minimized principle axis tilt through less case taper, 30 degree shoulder angle, 1.5 degree lead angle, and smaller lead diameter. I suppose some of the factors affecting PAT could be customized to modern trends for a rifle chambered for a legacy cartridge, but taper and shoulder angle would remain a feature of the cartridge itself.

It's a modern design in quite a lot of respects, representing changes in a lot of details that the casual observer will overlook. Naturally, these changes do not matter to everyone. A 1960 Chevrolet will easily meet all the needs I have for a vehicle. I could say that I see no point in 21st-century models. Similarly, I could probably shoot a .270 Win. and do everything I could ever imagine needing done. But if I were to design a cartridge with what I know now, I would have to be very stubborn indeed to thwart the design so as to keep 100-year old traditions in spite of considerable advantages in the alternatives. Those alternatives certainly aren't found in the Creedmoors alone. We can see some of them in many of the modern cartridges like the WSM's, 6.5 PRC, the Nosler series, the Lapua's, and indeed the .30 TC.

Now “some women don’t like shooting it” is your factual evidence of a poor cartridge? Move the bar much?

What size diaper can, IN FACT fit a 6.5 Creedmoor round that is too small for the monstrously larger .270 Winchester? My guess is a Premie size would fit either but again, that’s a moot point to you.

You asked me to point out where you disparaged any cartridge, I responded with evidence, and again you simply move on to attacking the owners. If you’re happy shooting a cartridge with 10% less diameter than .308 then you ought to spend more time doing just that rather than trolling these threads.
