Picked up this WF made by stevens today. I got it for $100 OTD from my LGS. it's a 12ga with 32 inch barrel ( thought it was a 30 but it's a 32) 2 3/4 full choke. has the double hump receiver and suicide safety in the trigger guard, the pump is very smooth. these were designed by john.m. browning in the early 1900s. this gun is a neat take down. very nice machine work and the gun is like a tank, it's a bit heavy but balanced nice and swings pretty good.

the guns in pretty good shape, don't think it was shot to much. there is some small rust spotting on one side, i think some copper wool will remove most of it. wood is good with no cracks a few safe dings. but plate is good no cracks, loos like bakelite. i was looking or a win 12 or a ithaca 37 cheap, but even beat one bring pretty good money. since these are not worth much i may restore it. redoing the rust blue should be easy and just need to clean up the wood. the gun is in the 89,000 range i think that's about 1935.

just figured to share, hope to give this gun some good use. i was thinking off making a take down shotgun wood box or it. thanks troy.

tore the gun down for a good cleaning, the small rust spots on the receiver are gone after some light scrubbing with cooper wool. the bore looks near mint, i think this was used for deer. because there were some deer hairs in the action.
