Well this am I happened to stop at my LGS and saw this " Ugly Duckling " that a Bubba created with black Creakote and ugly Goodyears, I checked it over it has a great trigger and tight action so for five Benjamin's the " Ugly Duckling " was mine for my new EDC. Replaced the grips with some Mustang grips I had and Bingo a shooter .Model 19-4 2.5" P & R. IMG_0005.JPG IMG_0008.JPG

Way to go Snake! Forget the cosmetic appearance (though it's not half bad with the Cerakote); the sweet trigger and nice tight action are what really matter!

Thanks, Well, Kinda ugly to me, I never have had Creakote gun before, I guess I like em shinny, But I was thinking for what I paid for it , it was a steal. The price was based on the looks they said so I guess nothing wrong with a non-shinny 19-4 P&R for my stable.

I'm seeing a lot of beauty there!

Well after a few days , To be honest the more I have it around the more I like it, I guess it is just so different. I never had seen a Creakote older model 19 of any size before , It was kinda of unique and it was a great buy. I am glad I have in my stable of Smith's.

If the Cerakote was done right it will far outlast any bluing job. I like the way it looks and hey, you bought it to carry, not to look all pretty, right?

Actually, I am jealous. Nice find. :D
