Email #15 arrived today. Tried unsubscribing a second time. We'll see.

I had a situation with a supplier that sold their mailing list to a marketing company. They had so many products that were of no interest it was just visually irritating to see the header come up. Took a year to get it figured out with them. They layered the marketing division deeply that it would up being their IT division that could only make the changes to the master mailing list. The sales or general marketing team could "delete" it but it wasn't. Now my irritation goes to Shen Yun for their direct mailings. They will not remove your name from their list unless paid.

I was checking some brass retailers a few years ago and made a profile because I wanted to see how much shipping was. One day I get a phone call from Florida that I didn't answer and then a few more. I started getting emails from them too asking if I was still interested in the 1k pieces of brass I put in my cart. I am sitting there thinking how in the world would this company know I put brass in the cart. I got 2 more phone calls from him stating he processed my order and I didn't put a credit card # into the web page and he needs to know if I still want the brass. I looked up the companies number and private called it and sure enough the guy who called me about 6 times and maybe 3 emails answered. I just hung up and sent him an email politely stating I changed my mind. His brass price and shipping was a lot, so I passed. It was very odd and IMO bad sales for him to pester me about the order. He also offered a discount in the voicemail, but something just felt odd. It did concern me that even though I didn't actually place the order he could still see it. I was thinking c'mon if I didn't actually place it then I'm not interested.

In the OP's situation the person is just making sure your happy. Reply and say thanks, all is good and no you don't need help and move on. The sales things are probably just auto sent.

I think I got 6 so far.....not that I care, 2500+ emails in each of 3 inboxes? ....don't think I'll notice a couple dozen more

Well ... I guess I thought it unlikely that the ACTUAL president of the company was emailing me, which is what the emails are saying. Just assumed it was a bot.

Just got email #16!!
