No weapons allowed signs in KY

I know other states have laws in place that make the carrying of weapons in a public place where this sign is posted a crime. How does KY stand on this should someone be found to be carrying in an area where a sign is posted? I am not asking about places such as schools, police depts and etc as outlined by the Kentucky State police web site.

It looks like “no guns” signs have no force of law by themselves in KY. This is from the Kentucky page of handgunlaw.us:

Do “No Gun Signs”Have the Force of Law?

“NO” KRS 237.110

[...]

“No Firearm” signs in Kentucky have no force of law unless they are posted on property that is specifically mentioned in State Law as being off limits to those with a Permit/License to Carry. If you are in a place not specifically mentioned in the law that is posted and they ask you to leave, you must leave. If you refuse to leave then you are breaking the law and can be charged. Even if the property is not posted and you are asked to leave you must leave. Always be aware of the possibility that responding Police Officers who may have been called without your knowledge and may not know the laws on trespass etc. could arrest you even if you are within the law.

If they ask you to leave because of your gun then leave. Otherwise keep it concealed.

Signs posted in places other than those expressly prohibited by the statute do not carry the force of law. If you are discovered and asked to leave you can be arrested for trespass if you refuse.

Yes what Elkins45 said. They can ask you to leave and if you refuse they can have you arrested for trespassing.
