Are you actually going to sling up the Shockwave and carry it through the brush?
It's one thing to say it, but it seems a mite big to sling up for stroll on the offchance that I might see a snake.
When they came out I thought that the shockwave and the Tac-14 were kind of cool just because of the novelty and the fact that they had found a way around the NFA. But honestly I wouldn't really have much use for one once the novelty wore off.
For a long gun carried in the truck I would just go with the regular shotgun with a stock.
For carry on hikes or being out in the woods I'd likely just go with a pistol. :Shrug
Now if you could throw a stock on a 14 inch shotgun *THAT* would make a great truck gun. I still likely wouldn't carry that on hikes unless I was out in the middle of nowhere or on a deer lease.
