S&W Range Day

Finally some decent weather here in NW Pennsylvania, so a friend and I headed to the shale pit where we shoot. We set up steel plates at 25 & 35 yards and had a couple target stands and pop bottles full of colored water to shoot at. I brought a 1955 Highway Patrolman and my new 442. My buddy brought his model 66 snubbie and a 4 inch model 67
Plinked, ran some drills, and plunked somemore

This was 6 shots from my Highway Patrolman, shooting offhand while standing at 30 feet

It's a shale pit off a logging road and is about 5 minutes from my house. The road is gated, but we have permission and the combination to the lock . It is a nice place to shoot

A friend and I have 5 or 6 target stands and a half dozen or more steel plates that we can use when we set up our range. We even have a zip-line we can set up to run across the shale pit to give us a moving target
