Students Reject Anti Gun “Ambulance Chasers” that descend on Colorado

It doesn't fit the narrative. Douglas county is one of the reddest counties in the metro Denver area, and these students rightfully feel taken advantage of by politicians.

Anti-gun cultists are such sociopaths.

The students decided that they would not allow themselves to be used as pawns on a stage of political opportunism. I am proud of them.

Gosh, imagine the idea that "students" might have an array of views on a political topic. What a shock!

I'm heartened by any indication that individual critical thinking remains present in the midst of a herd mentality.

Gun control organization and anti-gun politicians are shocked to find out that students and parents at a vigil for a fallen student actually wanted the student memorialized, not an anti gun rally held.

The reactions (comments) to the ABC News on-line story rated Top Reactions generally criticize the vigil organizers and the politicians for making it a gun control event and praise the students for walking out.

This restores my faith in America's youth. I am too, am proud of them. I must admit, to my shame, that I burst out laughing when I saw this yesterday. To see that cheap political trick foiled by the very people they intended to exploit was too much!!

If only the activists set their sights on swimming pool accidental drownings, which kills more kids per year than gun violence. Every day there's multiple articles on guns, never a single one on swimming pools...

Very proud of those STEM kids. It took backbone for those kids to do what they did.To stand up to the politicians is not easy and they did it right.
They are not ordinary kids. Kendrick, the young Marine and others that took out the two pieces of human filth are a special kind of young adult.
We lived in Douglas County for a long time, my wife works for the Douglas County School District. Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock approved my concealed carry permit. We have a lot of history here.
In a time where I look at the youth and wonder ***? It is GREAT to see such young people still exist.

It sounds like the Brady Campaign can learn something about decency from those kids. To experience something that horrific just to have it used as a political stunt is disgraceful.

I'm proud of them too, but to set the facts straight they aren't Millennials, they're whatever comes next. We Millennials are about 25 to 37 or so now.

It gives me hope that critical thinking on an individual basis will not be replaced by popularity polls.

The media isn’t going to stop pulling this crap. They can’t. They will just simply edit out the things that go against their agenda and highlight the the words of those speakers. They will show the politicians who pretend to be saddened and put on a somber face. The news anchors will do the same. And they will broadcast it for millions to see who will know nothing but what is played. What truly happened will never be aired on their networks.

I have nothing but disdain for these sorry excuses for human beings.

They “should” be ashamed. But there is no shame. There is no shame because they have no honor. They have no integrity. They have no decency. They have no soul. They exploit children. They are no better than the people who commit this violence. And I hope Karma pays them a lengthy visit. And I hope she’s having a really bad day when she does.

Gen Z, and yes, they are different from the Millennials. My son (13) and his friends reject the "snowflake" mentality, and have grown-up with real winners, losers, and actual discipline. It is a refreshing change from the sterotype.

The media only allowed the proper thinking kids on air.
Kyle Kashuv was only shown when he went shooting an AR15 and derided for the same. Kyle and Mr. Pollack have been outspoken but never heard due to media censoring.

Gen Z is considered to be very conservative.

The goal of the "chosen" Florida is to get communist politicians elected. They have the same goal as the media. The shooting in Florida was exactly what the media and Democrats have been so eagerly hoping for. The Florida kids that the media chose were not the ones that survived anything, or were even in any danger. They were just the most politically active ones. Active on the right side of course.

The Colorado shooting will be forgotten as soon as possible. No students have come out talking about how the solution is to elect more communists and eliminate civil rights. The shooters were outspoken Trump haters, Obama lovers. One is gay and the other is having trouble figuring out the whole boy girl thing. Those people are sacred to the Democrat party. The Colorado shooting just does not support the narrative.

I read somewhere today that millennials are becoming more conservative, they hardly watch TV, and they aren't promiscuous. Maybe the Lame-Stream-Media just makes us think they are mainly liberals?
