Push-fed action features?

The long tail on a Mauser extractor has a purpose. Pressing down on the extractor lifts it enough to grab the case. This works on standard length actions that have not be altered. My CZ 550, Mauser based, will not budge. On my last built up Mauser the gunsmith modified the extractor to snap over grabbing the extractor groove. The rifle would feed the rounds out of the magazine as usual but could also act as a push feed. I do not go there for fear of damaging the extractor.

I see the Shadow line of Winchester Model 70 that are unique. These rifles locally are WSM's. The ejector is fixed working through a slot in the bolt face. The face of the bolt is flat. The extractor appears to be for a push feed. Rounds are fed out of the magazine under the extractor. The action could also be used as a push feed. Neat idea and it did work very well. This system appeared in Winchester advertising some years back. Those were good decent rifles.
