What You Got:
S&W M&P M2.0 Compact NTS (At under $300 new I couldn't resist). I don't really see what the big deal is. Compared to a 9 oz .380, 17 oz 9mm or 21 oz .45 it seems pretty mild to me.

What You Want:
X-KSP G35-4. Not real sure that qualifies as it would be for a .357 Sig conversion.

Had it to the range last week, and found it to be accurate, and I’m liking the Gen4 grip texture and no backstrap.
I liked it so much that it is currently on home defense duty, loaded with 180gn HST.

Have a fullsize 1.0 M&P-----that I picked up NIB for dirt cheap

Shoots the .40 ok but really trying to locate a reasonably priced .357 barrel for it. Picked up a couple spare mags when Midway had them marked way down.

Guess I wouldn't own a .40 unless everything was so cheap---but have no problems with this gun.

Dang, this thread has been running for a while. I posted in it before that I had a Ruger P94 & a XD-40. I bought a M&P 2.0 40 compact back at the first of the year. I wanted a .40 the same size as a G-23 & the M&P new was about the same cost as a used Glock. I don't really carry the Ruger any more but I keep it around because it was what I had when I started carrying & I did a lot of learning with that pistol. I sold the XD. I really liked it when I first got it but one day I was out with my neighbor & we both shot our pistols. I shot a tighter group with the XD than he did with his G23 but then he let me shoot the Glock & I shot it better than I did the XD. Kind of messed things up for me. It's all good but I still find myself wanting a Sig P229. Oh well, maybe later. Her are a couple of poorly taken pictures.

Any particular reason for four G23-4?
Firearm familiarity, as they’d be used by family members as well who are not gun enthusiasts like me. I carry one, my daughter has claimed one and the other two are stashed in safe areas for quick access if needed. The Gen 4 tames the recoil of the .40 s&w better than the previous gen .40 Glocks with it’s dual spring recoil rod.

My only 40. Photo taken the day I brought it home several years ago. No regrets and surprisingly easy to shoot for how small it is.

A Walther PPS 40 can be usually found close at hand.....Also have a Sig 2022 in 40 S&W.

I started with a Glock 27 for carry. I did not really care for it, being a 1911 guy, but it was small, accurate and easy to carry plenty of ammo for. I have sort of adopted a few more. I now have a Modell 22, a Model 22C and the new one, with the optical sight, the Glock 35. Install the Ghost trigger connector and grease the daylights out of the trigger bars and you have a decent shooting gun. I am getting 10 ring accuracy at 25yds out of the 35. Guess I have become a Glock fan.

All 40s except the glock 20. And it was firing 40s that day. I also carry a glock 27 and have a couple more 40s

Walther PPS .40 , Sig 239 LEO model .40 , Tanfolio Compact all steel .40 , Slicked up S&W Sigma first run .40 which works well and carries well in IWB kydex rig . S&W 4006, runs like a tank !
