I have a Ruger LC9s Pro that I love. I like to have parts on hand for all of my guns. I decided to get a couple of captured recoil spring assemblies for it. To my surprise, I cannot find them for sale anywhere!! For those of you that have bought them, where did you find them at? My two go-to places, Midway and Brownells yielded nothing. I can't even find them on the Ruger website. As popular as these pistols are, I know they have to be producing replacement parts for it, but I cannot discover where. Help!

Hmmm. Try giving Ruger a phone call, or email them. It simply may not be listed on their web page.

I have called Ruger many times for a new captured recoil spring and they always send me one at no charge. i have no idea why, to this date, they do not sell them. as I replace all my Recoil Springs on a regular basis. That said, I do not shoot the LC9s very much anymore.

I will give them a call. If they want to give me one for free, I will take it. It is weird that they don't sell them, though. I cannot fathom a reason for it.

Ruger customer service is outstanding. I have several Rugers. The only problem I ever had was with the original Vaqueros after thousands of rounds and thousands of dry fires associated with SASS competition. The hammer plunger springs gave out. I called Ruger and had new springs for free in a couple of days. It's the sort of thing that makes for loyal customers.
