Ruger #1's.

I don't have one. I've never even held, shouldered or shot one.

But I like them enough to want a bunch of them. I fell in love with the look ever since I saw my first one in a gun store as a high schooler... it was a Tropical in .458 Win and man, did I wish I had money enough to buy it!

Stay safe.
I’ve got one chambered in 460 S&W magnum. They are gorgeous. You’ve got to pick up at least one.

Winchester Model 12's, I only have three 12, 16 and 20 gauge. Have always intended to get more. Heavy Duck 3 inch with solid rib is at the top of the want list.

I like guns. The problem I have is lack of focus when it comes to collecting.
I have a few Mosins

But they don’t all fit in my Mosin closet.

I kind of like Mosin carbines too.

I really like Turkish rifles.

Wish I would have bought more M1 Carbines years ago.

I’m not sure about collecting AR’s, but they tend to

I’ve thought about collecting some black powder revolvers

Those are just part of my unfocused collecting habit.

I must be schizophrenic - I collect 2 things:

Old S&W N Frame revolvers - Model of 1917, Triple-Lock, 2nd Model Hand Ejectors

...and...

one of everything else - Colt 1911, Colt 1903, Browning HP, CZ75, CZ85, CZ83, CZ27, FN 1910, FN 1922, MAB D, Remington 51, Walther PP, Mauser 1914, S&W Model 39s, 59s, etc, etc.

The one consistent thing? All metal. I have yet to own anything polymer.

I'd have the old standby of U.S. military arms and gear, including NFA items if the budget allowed.

Over the years, my interests have gone from one thing to another.... My worst "infection" was probably "Garand-itis".. I think I had 13 of them at one point including an M1D... Now down to just 2..

Lately I've become interested in Single Action revolvers. Not old colts or collectibles but rather shooters... and only in 45LC... can't explain why.... its just another infection I'll have to get over.

All metal here too.
Only one N-frame (M28), and one L (686) here, the rest of mine are Ks- 15, 17, 19, 64, 65.

My one of everything list is strikingly similiar- Colt 1911, BHP, Remington 51, Walther PP, M39, M645, M422, Astra A600, Luger, Beretta 92, Ruger Mk1, etc, etc.:D

Looks like you've developed some nice healthy famial relationships there!

Keep up the good work Dad!

If I had virtually unlimited means, I'd expand my modest and diverse accumulation. Years ago, I started collecting one type of firearm, but at some point became distracted by some shiny thing or other, and traded or sold most of them. So I regretfully admit I'm accumulator, rather than a collector;)

Yeah, I can see doing it. Would need a Mk IV Series 80 in the black finish the Officer's came in, and a Commander to match.
Long had a dream to have the Custom Shop fit up a trio in Royal Blue in .38super.
I'd love to have a Colt Commercial, too. And a LCDR while I'm at it.
Lets see, a 1910, a 1903, and a 1908 would round out that herd of ponies rather nicely; wanting only for a Vest Pocket.

I generally collect families of stuff, the different variations like part of the AR family

After looking at these pictures, I realize that I suck at life.

I could see myself having a few variations of this SAA

I have unintentionally collected 3 S&W revolvers. A J-frame model 36, a K-22 and a model 14-4.

I like the older S&W revolvers. I don’t know if I will get anymore but if I had the resources I would love to add a few more.

I have a “blended” collection now, mine and my dad’s. I’ve got about a half dozen old Winchester levers that he collected. The newest being a 94 marked as .30 WCF (pre .30-30). I’ve got 7 3rd Gen S&W autos. Then I’ve got about 20 milsurps that we’ve collected. Each “collection” stemmed from the love of shooting them. There are more holes in each than I have disposable income.

I already do....trap guns. Ljutic Spacegun,Ruger trap gun,KS-5,870 Trap, Remington 1100 150 year commerorative 1966 vintage,Kolar unsingle combo..................etc.

I'd pick a Sharps 1874 Sporting Rifle in .45-70, and an 1886 Winchester in the same caliber. I'd settle for replicas as not likely to afford originals.
