Lyman case trim Xpress?

I got one on overstock.com for 60 a year or two ago..only trimmed a little bit of 223 brass and it seems to work good and has 2 more tool stations that rotate. There are a couple of YouTube's, think Johnny reloading bench has one, that give a good rundown on the operation of it.

I have one and have used it only once so far. After initial set up for trim length for 6.5 Creedmoor I was able to trim almost 200 cases in about 15 minutes. It works great. I have a mountain of 223 brass that I will be doing soon, and for the first time, I'm looking forward to trimming brass.

I felt the same way when I got my WFT for .223, some of best reloading $ I have spent. Why oh why did I wait so long to buy it.......(or something like it)
(was using a hand crank Hornady before)

My apologies, I was thinking of the Frankford Arsenal trimmer w 3 additional tool that spin. Looks about the same setup on the trimmer.
Saw this you tube from Gavin on ultimate reloaders, seems to be doing a lot of Lyman stuff lately.....must be getting sponsored w free stuff to test! Their customer service has been horrible in the past, only Lyman product I have anymore is a couple of older molds and a 55 powder thrower.

It’s around $130 and comes with a pretty good selection of bushings. I think the only calibers I load not covered are 257 Wby and 375 Ruger, and I don’t shoot those enough to really need a motorized trimmer for them.

I have the Frankford Arsenal version of this. One thing to note on the bushing system is since they index off of the shoulder it must be setup for 1 type of brass. If you are trimming 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady cases and then you stick a federal case in there you might get a slightly different overall length. For precision reloading I am using a LE Wilson hand crank which is slow and a PITA but it has a micrometer and indexes off of the base of the case and gives almost perfect consistency. For plinking ammo the motor driven case trimmers are the way to go given the speed you can trim cases at.
