I know, but mine would be a 1911.
Got to stick my head in the breech of one.Mine would be the 16 inch guns on uss Missouri . Now that would be a hoot .
LoL.I see your PIAT and raise you a Boys Rifle..
Make friends with Dickie Sharpe.Hmm, hard question.
have to say a Baker Rifle.
I need to go to a range and rent one before I make the mistake of ordering one.
I have had 50ae dies saved in my cart for like 2 years now lol. One day... But then another (more friendly priced) gun comes up...and so on.That's what I did.
My Desert Eagle was delivered to the LGS shortly there after...
This is a tough one. I've tried a .45-70 Contender pistol (once!),
There once upon a time was a LGS into which, one day many years ago, walked someone with a fistful of cash who wanted to buy a .460 Weatherby. Of course, in S. Fla it's really only good for hunting something on the scale of Buicks so they didn't have one in stock. The smart guys took the deposit (somewhat over cost + shipping) and ordered it. Moneybags didn't come back for the pickup so after 6 months (the terms on the receipt) they'd take it to the gun club and give anyone who wanted to say they shot one an opportunity to do so, for $5. It was one beautiful, well made, silky operating firearm. And yeah, I shot it. Once.A LGS actually had a "long range shooting event" that was supposed to be held today at a range that hosts USPSA and IDPA matches that I'm familiar with. It's been raining on and off all day so I dont know if they had it or not, I didnt go because of the weather.
Anyhow they were supposed to have a number of different rifles with different glass set up for folks to try out. It was free to come to the event and free to try out the guns.
However, if you made a $10 donation to the cause they'd let you shoot either a 50BMG or 338L. The 50 has been on my list to shoot for a while.
Would love to shoot one! At one time I was interested in buying one, but at 15K I passed.I'm with Labguy in post #3. The American 180. Referred as the 100-yard shotgun by the corrections people who used it. When I first heard about them, I was fascinated. Anything that can shoot 175 .22 LR rounds at one pull has got to be fun.
