Inquired as to replacing the stocks/fore end, on my Bobwhite SXS
This stock is at best an embarrassment.
You might want to think twice, or more before you buy not made in U.S.A.

J.R.,
Unfortunately we do not sell stocks separately. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

What does not made in the US have to do with it? Don't know too many gun makers period that sell stocks; there are enough aftermarket folks out there. Those stock have to be fitted to the receiver and foreend iron

Could be but I have worked on guns for 50 years+ and a refusal to replace ANY part just doesnt set well with me. So maybe its my fault for buying a crappy product. :( It isnt like I was asking for a free replacement--

If the stock was so crappy, then why did you buy it?

A refusal to replace any part doesn't sit well? SERIOUSLY?

I have a S&W Elite Gold made in Turkey by AKUS - great guh, BTW; better made than the Huglu.
Came with not only a lifetime warranty, but an heirloom warranty, meaning the warranty would be good to my heir. When S&W stopped importing them, guess how much that warranty was worth? ZILCH. Cabela's started importing the same gun under the Dickinson brand.

And what about all of the other makers over the last 50 years you've been working on guns that have gone away or stopped production and parts of something? You hate them too? hate Ruger for no longer supporting the Security Six? Remington for not supporting their model 32 or SxS?

That is just plain silly.

I guess I am confused then - if you SPECIAL ordered it, why didn't you pick the wood? Or, did you just order it off the net from a dealer? BIG difference.
Again, lots of custom stock makers where you can spend 20X the cost of that gun for some 900 year old Turkish root burl

CZ has fabulous customer service. If you have a legitimate concern about the stock, send it to them under warranty. If you want an American made current production SxS, they are out there and start at around $10,000 for a no frills 12 ga. Or, enjoy the Bobwhite for what it is- a good handling, low priced, utility grade import.

If you want modern Amercan there is CSMC. They made RBL and may still be making cosmetically altered variant for Savage Arms.

I too find this remark inane. Made in the USA has nothing to do with it.

I’ve also found that I get much better service when speaking to someone on the phone than through Email.

I’m a huge fan of CZ rifles and handguns, not so much their shotguns. I’ve purchased a youth stock though from CZ for a 720 and also had a 720 fore end sent to me from CZ that had cracked. So it seems that CZ doesn’t sell stocks/fore ends for SxS shotguns(probably O/U’s too) which makes sense to me since they as a rule require some hand fitting.

If there is a issue with the stock on the Bobwhite and OP were to send it in, I’m sure CZ will take care of it. I’ve always been more than satisfied with CZ customer service.

Add in the fact that CZ doesn't make their shotguns in the first place.

I do think sometimes import versus American-made makes a bit of a difference on issues of spare parts availability. Many importers get an occasional big crate of guns, and sometimes just enough spare parts to meet anticipated warranty demand. It's not like they've got a huge component inventory just lying around waiting for assembly in the factory into discrete guns - or, equally, for sales to dealers or individuals. Some of them are simply not set up to replace non-wear items.

I don't let this stop me from buying imported guns, but I also don't think that there's no drawback to dealing with non-domestic importers.
