Congratulations Gunny! and THANK YOU for single handedly keeping all those pawn shop guns out of the hands of criminals! :)

I love the look, but in function would prefer adjustable sights. Good score Gunny, just let us know how it does when you test drive it.

And as for the 3 click vs 4 click, I feel like there’s a lot of that mess causing folks to turn their nose up at the newer designs. That may be what turned off your guns previous caretaker.

I have a few single action revolvers. The first three handguns I bought back in the 80’s were single action revolvers.
I have a Ruger Super Single Six and a New Model Blackhawk 357 Mag and like the fact that they have adjustable sights.
But I just love a classic looking single action revolver.
I was telling myself that I needed a few more single action revolvers in my collection of guns and was happy to see this one come up for sale.

Yep it was made by Uberti. I was at a gun show and had just picked up a Rossi Model 92 in .45 Colt and so I felt I needed a single action revolver to go with it. Saw several used ones (was greatly tempted to get an older Uberti in .44 Special), when I came across the Stampede, new in the box. The finish on it looked great and of course it was chambered for .45 Colt! Did a bit of negotiating on the price and went home with my pair of Western Aces!

Nice, I’ve got a similar combo in .357.

Gunny

Great single action collection you've got there! Like the Colt Open Top reproduction; super sleek design!

That Open Top was a Christmas gift from a friend. She wanted to get me something I didn't have and must have been paying attention to what I was talking about one day. It's chambered in 38 SPL. and is a great shooter.
I'm Thinking about getting back into CAS and using the Open Top and the new Cattleman, But I need to get me a new rig to carry them.

Gunny

The Open Top and your new Cattleman II would make for a great combo for CAS, along with your Marlin 1894! Please post photos of your new rig when you get it!

Nice line up in SA gunny.
I do like SA revolvers since I was five or six, but soon after I discover rifles lever action was an unconditional love.
I was never able to purchase a Colt or high value SA, now my sixties around the block I can indulge my self with some candies.
My only SA for now is a Ruger vaquero 45 long colt / 45 acp, heavy and beautiful piece piece of stainless steel that I love to shoot, it is looking for a partner for SASS maybe another in 357/ 9 mm or the Outlaw (Uberti,Cimarron,Pieta etc.) we need two legs in SASS.

Wouldn't have anything to do with those westerns that were all over the tv back in the late 50's and early 60's would it? ;)
Ruger Single Six and two lever action rifles in my safe.

Nice looking Vaquero! Have one just like it in .45 Colt. Built like the proverbial tank it shoots to POA at around 15 yards with factory ammo or my handloads.

ontarget,
Grab your cc and go to the LGS , and bring some news around.

Dang it you guys. You all are going to have me making a trip to the LGS if you keep this up.

What, you mean you haven't even left yet?

Let's get a goin' here...we don't have all day ya' know (yes we do, just want to give you a little more of a sense of urgency, that's all)!

Ditto. It is paired with my 4" GP-100.
That Uberti is a great looking piece Gunny. Congratulations.

Also, tell us more about the matching pair with the Moon face in the grips! Cool pair.
Those are my EMF New Dakotas in 45 Colt that I bought back in the late 90’s for shooting Cowboy Action.
The half moons are Germany Silver inlays that I got from Dixie Gunworks in 1998. I did the inlays myself. One is on the right and the other on the left to distinguish the guns as right side and left side gun on my rig.
