Picked up my Henry Single Shot .44mag this morning. All I can say is WOW! This rifle is beautiful.

A pair of Ruger EC9s's.

Spanish "Star BM" in 9mm Luger. Surplus, resembles a 1911, but different.

It had about 4 >Partial< Fail to Extracts in 100 rds. Cool gun.

"Debugging the Star B and BM.." on Google mentions how a guy at Gunboards (Begemot) claims that these Partial Fails...are almost always caused by a mag seating too high--causes drag on slide moving to the rear..
As to which exact metal he removed in this article, I don't understand.
If somebody knows, please reply.

Sig Nightmare Carry in 357Sig

A 95% Colt Detective from 1961with a low-ball bid on Gunbroker.

Today I bought a Marlin 1894 Cowboy in .357 magnum. It has an octagonal barrel. Woodwork to metal fit is good, metal finish is okay, but not quite as good as older models and not as fine as Uberti or Miroku Winchesters.
Action is stiff, but cycling it seems to be smoothing it out considerably.
It has the end cap on the forend and a hanger under the front sight, other than barrel bands, and a 20" inch barrel.

One curious thing....instructions do not indicate how many cartridges fit in the magazine. Does anyone know?

I believe 10 (357). Could be 11 with a 20" barrel. 9 fits in my 16".
