On June 15, the Southern Missouri Rangers hosted a cowboy action match for lady shooters only. The men performed all the chores. Thirty-five lady competitors from Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri enjoyed friendly competition and being spoiled! This was the sixth year for this annual match, and I posted a brief video to YouTube in anticipation for next year’s match. Ladies looking for a fun match should remember this one.

Beautiful, my wife and me we are getting ready soon for SASS. We just need another SA revolver.
Thank you for posting

My advice is to get to a local match with what you have. Don’t wait “until you have everything”.

My home club’s monthly match was this past Sunday. One fellow returned after shooting his first match in June, and brought a friend who shot his first match. They had a pair of revolvers with holsters, and the ammo they needed.

Our club has a “loaner rig” (gunbelt, holsters and shotshell slider) that one fellow used. I put them on my posse and all three of us shared my rifle and shotgun.

Most clubs are eager to recruit new shooters and will lend and share gear to help them get started. I can’t count the number of times I have tossed a revolver (figuratively speaking) to a new shooter.

We went there once, and loved. Very friendly, we liked, two categories like pro (very fast, oriented for competitions and other group more to have fun, but both very safe inclined).
Since you suggest, I have a Win. 94 provably two years before was discontinued (pristine) in 45 colt, also SKB 12 gauge side by side shotgun along with a Ruger Vaquero in 45 Colt.
My question is for the other pistol what to buy, migrate to Uberti 357 / 9mm and save some bills or get another Ruger in 45 Colt.
I am not totally full equipped for reloading yet, my mostly to go caliber are 9mm and 22.
Thanks in advance, for your help.

Visit a match. Let the women talk to each other, try a variety of firearms. A smart husband/partner provides the guns his woman chooses, not what he thinks she should have.

When we went there they treat us like old friends.
Thank you all, she think it is a little heavy, but can handle. I will get another Vaquero, quick last question since I don't reload yet.
Is there any factory ammo for SASS available, before purging more resources I would like to try few times before full throttle.

Yes. Several companies make “cowboy” ammo that is SASS legal in that it has lead bullets at a pistol velocity under 1000 fps. In my experience, though, some of that ammo is still hotter than what the average shooter uses.

Check out the “Cowboy Cartridges” sold by Scarlett Darlin. She is a competitive shooter who supports the sport. www.bulletsbyscarlett.com
