I got my new to me Ruger P95 back from customer service and they Repaired the broken decocker. The gun works fine now, but strangely I had 2 FTE with some Train and Defend 147gr ammo. Earlier I had shot a box full of old Fed 124gr Nyclad HP's that ran fine. Overall accuracy was good.

I also shot my Beretta Pico, and had 2 stove pipe jams. The first with Hornady Critical Defense. This was my carry ammo that I decided to cycle through. The second was with Train and Defend HP's ammo. I think both were cause by me not slongshotting the gun properly. The Pico was also a little dirty from the previous range session and lint.

I also worked both my jobs yesterday for a total of 13 hours, abd I'm still a little tired today. Maybe some sloppy handling caused some of the issues.

I want to thank Ruger for fixing the P95 with zero cost to me. Great customer service!

Good to hear. I use T&D ammo, too, but in the 115-grain load, since I'm also using it in my PF9, too small a gun for reliability with anything a whole lot longer. I also have it in .380 for my TCP (the "train" load) and my Bersa Thunder (the "defend" load.)

My P95 is my bedside gun.

I was thinking of making it my bedside gun as well

A P95 and M&P 1.0 .40 are my bed side guns also.

Basically I got both cheap---so I'm not out much if I actually have to use them----both are dead reliable and reasonably accurate.

Congrats on getting great customer service. Right now, I think the Ruger SR9C's are one of the best deals going on right now in the Gun World. A little shopping and you can get one for as low as $289.00. And your testimony that Ruger will still take care of the gun makes this deal about as sweet as you can get. Built solid.
Glad you P95 is up and running.

Ruger has excellent customer service. I own a P94 (the all metal brother of the P95 ) and it was back at Ruger last year for new recoil springs, new magazine latch springs and a general check up. They repaired, test fired 20 rounds, and cleaned the gun for FREE.
My Mini 14 was at Ruger last month for feeding issues. Gun was rebuilt back to me in 7 days.
Happy Happy

I loaned a workmate some money for a car payment once and took his new P95DC for collateral.Three months later he said the gun was mine. I shot a couple boxes of rounds threw it, it ran 100%, was accurate as you expect, but I just diden't like it. I sold the gun made 100 bucks and bought a 1911, now a Happy Camper. hdbiker

They are going for 200-300 bucks on the used market today.
