earlier today went and tried to find out if there had been any progress on the next gen CAV-15 lower being brought to market yet.

all I can find is the announcement on the GWACS armory site (from what a year ago) that all the MKIIs were gone due to the post WWSD sales surge and that the MKII mold was toast. but that the MK-III and -IV were in process and would be available soon.
and then I see that the last entry on the GWACS facebook page is from January saying they're having to move and get their FFL address changed.

So, anyone heard anything since the middle of January and maybe know what the heck is going on?

Their Facebook has the latest info.

From January 17th: "Interesting developments, we have had to vacate our location. We are in the process of finding new space and will be transferring our FFL license's. We will be off grid until we get set back up."

Nothing since then. Not looking good IMO.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna consider this a dead-end/dead product. Six months is a long damn time to be without a business premises, especially in the gun industry. and even if they DO manage survive these lowers are a niche product anyway...

Something of note.

I got a Brownells 2019 catalog in the mail. I did not request one; perhaps they sent it because I have made several orders in the last few months.

As I was looking through it, I happened to find an ad for a Cav-15 MkII and MkIII lower. It said "NEW" next to the photo. Price $130.

I checked the GWACS website and Facebook, still crickets.

Maybe Brownells knows something we don't?

When did you receive it?
Brownells would be a great distributor for this considering they also make all the retro throwback rifles that the inrange guys do videos of.
