Major screw up. Look at the numbers in the country. How many independent moderates would be driven away? When did these immigrants get to be voting citizens? What makes you think Doc's don't have an opinion of gun violence.
One of the people I shoot with is a respected local physician. He had thousands of dollars worth of high end handguns last time out. He has seen much gun violence. He also thinks POTUS[ mainly related to health care issues] should have been impeached yesterday. I would be a good thing not to overgeneralize these groups. In refuting this polarized thinking is going to get you turned into road kill.

It ties together because other issues that people are concerned about may make them vote one way or the other. Some people out there may generally support gun rights but may support some restrictions because gun rights is not their number one issue. I can tell you that based what I have read on a political forum I go to that has all sorts of people left , right and center many would be democratic party voters are dismayed at the current state of the democratic party saying they have gone too far left for their tastes especially now that all the candidates are proposing free healthcare for illegal immigrants.
We will see but this means that many would be Democratic party voters might not vote or may vote other thus preventing a pro gun control president from taking office.

Once again, you have proven a lack of political or historical understanding. The medical profession is not largely pro gun, and have been weaponized against us. And the idea of YOU talking about over generalization after saying you wanted to "persecute" the leadership of the NRA and screaming about orange jump suits shows that you are uniquely ignorant of a great many things. Right now the Democrat Party is importing a new underclass to become voters. It is their stated goal. The idea is that since they cannot replace ideas, they want to replace people. How many moderates would be driven away? They either are for or against gun rights, if we have to become anti gun ourselves to woo them, then their support is pointless. Your doctor shooting buddy is irrelevant. The plural of "anecdote" is still not "facts."
