Like a few others I reload what I shoot, regardless of costs in either money or time. I do it because I'm retired, have plenty of off time and on a fixed monthly income. Besides I enjoy it. It occupies some time that I'd be doing nothing else and it keeps my mind sharp and the fingers working. At this stage it is good to have something to focus on for extended periods of time.

I wouldn't reload 9mm right now. I

I can buy steel or aluminum case 9mm for cheaper than I can buy components to reload, and I don't have to chase brass.

As far as "too much trouble to reload", the top contender would be .25 ACP. I'd have to use tweezers to handle the brass and bullets...

I load all except 380 I just don’t shoot it enough plus that low powder charge is a pain. I can buy it for $12 box which isn’t cheap but I don’t shoot it much so no big deal. I load and not load 9mm but since I got a huge supply of primers powder for pistol from cousin who getting out of business for cheap I started back to loading 9mm. I have found good supply of coated bullets and my CZ75B I got back from Custom shop shoots lights out. Plus another. CZ P01and a 1911 Springer a couple Hi Powers it worth it for sure at $5 or less a box

I have equipment to load a lot of stuff. I have loaded a wide range of both handgun and rifle ammunition. I am now older and wiser.

No .25 ACP. Too cotton picking small. And I don't shoot it much, they are collector's guns, really.
.32 ACP, 9x19mm, .38 Special and .45 ACP are just too easy to buy in bulk and save myself the tedious process of pulling the handle. Over and over and over...ad infinitum.
And I do not shoot .32 ACP or 9x19mm much. The .38 Special and .45 ACP are mostly 'standard' loads which match the defense loads I carry.

I do reload for .45 AR and .44 Special. No one produces what I want. (A full weight wadcutter bullet at generally 'standard' velocity.)

Which now gives me time to work on rifle calibers. All the weird stuff I collect and find useful. .303 British in a Ruger No. 1, for instance. .257 Roberts in another Ruger No. 1. 6.5x54 Mannlicher-Schonauer. Interesting stuff.

9MM is not worth the time & effort right now.
.380 is probably a "never". It's a when needed pocket rocket.
7.65 x 53 is not on the list, but who's to say down the road.
I have plenty of other cartridges I can't keep up with or buy the groceries for right now! LOL

I load more 9mm than anything else.

Since I cast my own bullets my 9mm loads are coming in at $5/100. .45 ACP runs $6/100.
