What is the last gun that you bought?

Last long gun ——M1 garand, Springfield Armory April of 1943. Service grade from CMP. It is more accurate than my old ( closer to 80 than 70) eyes are. She’s s beauty, and my grandfather worked there so he may have had a role in its manufacture plus my mom was an inspector there and she might have done one of the inspection on it. So if nothing else it’s something I can figure has family ties (maybe).

Last handgun...1851 colt navy...Brasser..in .44. Saw it, liked it, wife said why don’t you buy it? I couldn’t say no to her I’ll do most anything (especially like that) to keep her happy. It’s a Tradition (Pietta). The fit and finish are excellent. I know it’s not accurate historically, but it is when firing. I’ve never fired a gun that pointed so easily and naturally. It’s a hoot to shoot, gets some attention at the range, and my 12 year old grandson loves shooting it ... it’ll be his someday, but hopefully not too soon.

The M1 is what I’m holding in my avatar photo.

Handgun, a HK P30L

But I also took a rifle in to the LGS and put on consignment.
Makes me grump for a day or so to do that.

Well, I ended up buying a Ruger TALO 1772 7-shot blued GP100 and will be picking it up next Wednesday. Yeah, I know about the early rim bind problems, but measurements on the newer ones show the geometry has been modified and should allow sufficient clearance, I'm confident it will be fine.

I figure that if they end up banning ALL semi-autos like they're talking about, the only things we'll have left will be revolvers, and I don't have one at the moment. So I consider this disaster planning. ;)

I picked up these two back on June 24,2019 G-48 9mm & Ruger Mark IV .22 Competition pistols!

Nice grip ergo. I have a similar one with finger grooves for my 6" CA Bulldog 357. Not a trophy firearm by any means, but light and accurate and handles average loads of 357 with ease. I find it gentler than my short barreled 45ACP by far. The grip definitely helps.

I'll post a pic later when I'm home. I won the thing for just $137 brand new on Gunbroker! I think the seller was kind of pissed at that :) It's not fancy but still exudes quality. Turkish companies put out alot of decent shotguns.

Edit: I don't think mine was actually imported by TriStar, but it's actually a model that TriStar is even more well known for importing. It's basically an 870 clone with a few mods. I don't believe that parts interchangeability is a strong point there, but a few parts are in fact interchangeable.

Rossi model 33. Older gun from back when Interarms imported them.

Basically a copy of a 3" Smith model 36. 99% condition.
Seems like a neat little gun. Definitely not rated for +P ammo.

CZ 75B with Omega trigger about 4 months ago. I have started looking around for what's next. Up for consideration is a Glock 42, Ruger Mark IV, or SigP226 in 40 S&W

Just picked up a Winchester 94 30-30 about 15 minutes ago.
I really don’t need it but I have a friend that has been wanting a clean used one for some time now.
The seller wanted $300 cash. I called my friend and he said he didn’t have the extra money right now.
So I bought the rifle and will sell it to my friend for $300 when he has the money.

Found a deal on a couple of Remington V3 shotguns. Buddy of mine wants to go do some clay games, and I didn't have a shotgun, and found 2 at really good prices.

I have so many firearms, it is hard to say.. Except to say I embrace diversity and enjoy it. So what is diversity to me?
