Another AR Potitical Protest

The reason “MULTI” is put on lowers is so that people in certain states aren’t limited to the cartridge designation engraved on the lower.
How many of you own other non-AR long guns that have a cartridge designation engraved on the receiver? I’ll bet none. The engraving is usually on the barrel. At least is is on ALL of my long guns and ironically enough my AR barrels have all had the cartridge designation engraved on them as well.

Personally, I don’t care if you want Mother Teresa, Che Guevara, Peewee Herman or Marvin the Martian engraved on your receiver, it’s your receiver.

I, for one, like the various options that are out there. And if I want a flag, a zombie, a political statement or even (eeeek) the manufacturer’s logo on my receiver, well, by gawd, that’s what I will have. When someone else buys my receivers for me, non-straw purchase of course, then I will accept the receiver they buy me. Not that anyone is lining up to buy me guns.

If you want to look down your nose at my choices please, go ahead. It’s none of my business what you think anyway.

You want your AR with a Punisher skull, or your political view cut into the side, fine. I like a gun that's left alone, the markings the manufacturer meant for it (Aside from Ruger's and others "safety billboards"). Leave it blank. I'm just saying, I'll skip the politics branded into my firearm.

A couple of disturbing thoughts just occurred to me.

The first is should I do a protest every time one of the candidates for President drop out of the race? With 20+ candidates in one party alone it could get very expensive. Maybe for the ones that drop out early I will protest by buying boxes of ammunition. One box for the first person to drop out, 2 boxes for the second person, three boxes for the third, etc.

The even deeper thought is how do I select the correct upper to match the lower? What happens if I was to match a Democrat lower with a Republican upper. A jamamatic maybe? Maybe it will give birth to a whole new cartridge making me rich and famous. ️

Pee Wee Herman on a lower would definitely be different, that's for sure.
