Luck was with me today. Brought home a few Beauties. 1. Model 19-3 Snub from 1971. New in Box with tools. 2. New in Box Model 66 No Dash 6”. 3. Like New Model 34-1 Snub. 4. Like New Model 66-2 Snub with a Tyler T Grip. Not a bad day of hunting. Wallet got hit hard but I can’t walk away from 40 & 50 year old New Guns. I wouldn’t be able to sleep.

Some of you guys got four leaf clovers growing out your ears and it shows.... Green with envy on that 19 and those two 66’s!!! :what:

I don’t really have the funds (or interest) to buy every decent K frame I come across. Even if I only stick to .357s.

I have started only caring about shorter barrel N frames and compared to K frames, those are like hens teeth and cost a few bucks more to boot. I definitely of enjoy the search more than the purchase.

Look at that 66 no dash with a pinned barrel :) , the .22 Kit gun snub with the square grip is very nice, had one for 30 years before family member got it. All of them make a great battery ! I love early model 19 snubs !

I am the same way about the hunt. I love to go gun shopping and wind up looking somewhere just about every day. Right now the market is down and nobody is selling anything. There have actually been some great deals lately on Gunbroker. I've picked up several there just by placing a bid and nobody has placed one after. I don't sit back until the last minute and watch because I know I'll get caught up in the "I'll bid one more time, what's $10 more" trap. Its real easy to get caught up in that on Gunbroker since everytime someone bids in the last 15 minutes, it resets the clock. It gives you 15 more minutes to push yourself into bidding.

Some more outstanding finds for your S&W family! Love the Model 34 snubby!

Nice guns!

All the older K frames I come across are either beat to crap or way over priced. Like 10%-30% over priced.

I would say well for over 1000.00 for those fine S&W revolvers. I paid a little over 500.00 for this S&W and could damn near double my money on it.

Those are some NICE guns. I might have bought one of them if I'd seen it. :)

I had to settle for just one earlier in the week, a 13-3, 4" barrel, box and papers.

I try hard to avoid the "You can have more than one on layaway" trap.

Just Beautiful! I wouldnt know what to do if I ran into 4 revolvers like that for sale on the same day. Heck, I dont see NIB old revolvers EVER

I have a friend who has probably 50 NIB smiths pre 1980 and most from the 60's and 70's. Occasionally he will let me have one. I keep telling him he won't live forever and should sell or his wife's new boyfriend will be out shooting cans with them on the back porch!!

That's why the wife shouldn't know the combination to the gun safe. LOL...
