I purchased both of these underhammers with a USPS money order on The Traditional Muzzleloading Forum and would warn anyone here to proceed with caution.

im not getting scammed in this WHOEVER WANTS TO BUY THIS BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF UNDERHAMMERS I CAN TRY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS BUT I WILL NOT SHIP OR HAND OVER THE PAIR WITHOUT BEING PAID im sure everyone else does the samething when it comes the firearms and these 2 guns are the first iv ever sold online so i was very skeptic and cautious

No one expected you to. On the other forum this last Friday Hawkeye informed you he had sent a money order that afternoon and you acknowledged you had read it. No one asked you to ship without receiving payment yet you started listing the guns again yesterday when the earliest you could reasonably expect first class mail would be today or tomorrow. Your petty excuses are making you look less than honest.

The nomenclature looks like desidog is right! (not of the period)
I've got a Tingle .44 cal. pistol that is marked Hopkins & Allen Corp. N.J. USA
That don't make it so. It also is marked Made in Italy
I call it a 'Prospector'... looks a lot like a Tingle to me

Did I miss something? I don't see anything in the original post that says these are for sale. I looked in the black powder for sale section here and didn't see anything there either.

Shermseller,

Either learn how to capitalize, punctuate, and use complete intelligent sentences properly in your posts, or stop treating this forum like it was someone you are texting with your phone.

Nothing irritates me more than what you represent yourself as. Act like an adult and you will be treated as such.

Off my soapbox.

The Kings English has gone by the wayside with the inundation of technology.
I appreciate a lineal thread of logic in these posts also but it doesn't appear to be a prerequisite.
I don't believe Sherm has any ill will as a seller, tho.

Numrich arms made these in the 1970s and 80s. These short versions were called buggy rifles and they had a full length rifle version. They were simple, inexpensive but reasonably well made and accurate.

Yes they fall into the category of those rifles that are a tad..."different"..., that don't get really popular when they are being made. Then, after time and some reports of accuracy and durability, although they have been discontinued, a lot of folks find they are among the group that say, "Dang I wish'd I'd a bought one when they were available, way back when.". I personally have my eye on one that I hope will return to a local gun show. The bore is roached, and the ramrod is gone, though it was made as a heavy barrel target piece..., but I want to rebarrel it in a larger caliber.
