I’ve made the plunge on an offer I could not refuse. Normally I’m a buy once cry once kind of guy. But being that I’m selling my cheap century C308 due to its lack in quality, I figured I would invest in another budget 308 semi.

Browsing the PSA website I came across a daily deal “PSA-10 gen 2 complete build kit $349 free shipping” Impulsively I bought it. I then immediately also bought a PSA-10 lower on another daily deal for $79 with free shipping! $429 before tax! The rifle is an 18” mid length gas system in .308. The kit is average but appears quality.

Although i plan to add some upgrades like an A2 stock, adjustable gas block and free float handguard, I’m keeping it stock for a range report.

I’ll update when I have some results! So far seems hard to beat for a fun gun!

I am curious to see your range report, since I recently purchased a similar set up from PSA. Thus far, it hasn't been a tack driver, but some 125 gr Speer TNT hollow points and IMR-8208XBR are showing some potential. It has improved it's reliability after being broken in. I plan on taking it out again on Saturday.

I have one, I bought complete upper and assembled lower, it is over gassed but fine since I reload.

What issues does yours have?

Seems PSA AR10's aren't guaranteed to function reliably. You might read up on the 50 cent AR10 fix. This is where you put 2 quarters in the bottom of the buffer tube under the buffer spring. Other fixes are adjustable gas blocks and replacement buffer springs.

Don't get me wrong I love PSA rifles and have 3 AR15's built from PSA Kits.
Seems their AR10's have issues.
