But remember that regardless of a year (used) or a lifetime (new) warranty you still pay 55 dollars shipping if you have owned it more than one year. I recently learned this trying to make a warranty claim. I'm not a fan of their policy (still a big fan of the 22x series though) and have never ran into such a policy with any other manufacturer. On a 300 dollar gun it may be cheaper to repair yourself rather than pay double for the new gun and 55 bucks to get it looked at in the event it breaks.

ETA not arguing. Just pointing out what others may not be aware of. I have and will continue to buy both red box and new sigs

WOW! Thanks for pointing that out crestoncowboy. That is a terrible policy, and this will certainly bias my future firearm purchasing decision. I can tell you that Ruger has a much better warranty that covers shipping. How does S&W handle warranty claims, I wonder? I'm not a SIG fanboy, though I do have several of them, but this is really upsetting to me. Fortunately, I've not had to send any of them back to the Mothership.

Every Steve picked up the phone at CDNN my cc get soft and wife mad.
I have handle one at funny shows, and feel gummy the grip texture, also I wonder how it shoot with the slide being so forward comparing to others polymers (G17-P10C-VP9.)

I just sent a 329 pd back to smith.....again (44 mag tends to batter the scandium gun) and they always pay shipping both ways and have replaced everything with no fuss. Usually a 2 week turnaround. Expect absolutely no communication though. I got a fed ex alert that they recieved the guns. Then one that the gun was coming back. No word at all from Smith. I got a 3 or 4 word explanation of what they repaired in the box when I got them. Personally that's Fine by me. I'm a fan of short and sweet. No complaints.

I'm no "fanboy" of any one brand. I have Sig, Taurus. FN, HK, Smith, Colt, CZ, Ruger, Beretta, etc. I even have an RG and a Grendel but dont tell anyone. I personally carry a Glock. The sig 220 may well be my favorite guns overall so I have little bias. I've personally dealt with a few companies and have no real complaints. They all fixed the problems and Sigs policy is no secret so I probably shouldn't bitch about it. They will be glad to tell you the policy Lol. I still have the email from them stating it again early this year. No other company I've dealt with (mostly other folks guns but the ones mentioned above were mine personally) have failed to pay 2 way shipping though. Sigs turnaround and work has been good on the two occasions I've seen it used btw.

In a full size, It's no light weight gun, I have no real range time with a compact or subcompact. Of my duty guns only the 226 and Beretta 96 weighed more and only by 3 OZ and 2 OZ respectively . My fullsize Glock with a light mounted still weighs less than the 320. I can tell little difference other than subjective feel and placement of controls in recoil impulse between the 320, the USP, or the Glock 17 even though the bore axis (over stated IMO) is pretty high on the first two. The 320 trigger is quite good and all 3 I've used (9mm 40, and a 45) were plenty accurate
Honestly as a duty gun there are probably 10 I'd be fine with just reaching in a bag and drawing one out. The 320 is one of them. They are very similar and none really offer much over the next.

Thank you, I thinking to bite the 320 9mm. I do wait some time reading pros and cons before get hooked.

Got two of them, 15 and 12 years ago, both have excellent triggers, to the point where I will never get rid of them. Both started as .357 Sigs. This one has a Legion RX 9mm caliber eXchange kit.

Just got back from the range today and shooting the Sig 320, with Romeo 1. Shot about 250 rds. The only small con I have is the grip is a little thick for my taste and I am not sure I like the large takedown lever. The gun itself shot superbly. And with the Red Dot, made for easy shooting at 15-25 yds. The gun shoots so mild in 9mm, that I do want to try one in 40. cal. I have a feeling it handles it well.

Did you actually take the gun down. Just curious because I remember watching videos early on in the 320s production of guys taking them down easily by flipping the lever with one finger. Andre the giant couldn't have flipped either of mine that easy, mine are pretty stiff. Much stiffer than my 220 or 226s. That or I am considerably weaker than the YouTube guys, which is possible but pretty disappointing as a 20 year powerlifter. Lol

No, I only was able to shoot the gun due to time constraints. I am sure it makes for easy take down. I am not finished with trying the gun out. Plan to shoot some more in the next couple of days. But like I said, I really want to try out the 40.cal. I understand the Grip on the Cary is the same width?

I believe there are S, M, and L grips in all frame sizes. That said, I've only seen M personally

And takedown is easy. Just my levers on two seperate guns seem stiffer than those I've seen online. Maybe a later change idk

It seems they are all the same width. 1.30. Now this is not the guns fault, and I felt it large could be because I do not shoot Duty size guns very often. Could be a matter of just getting use to. I like thinner qrips. That said they gun was so easy to shoot well. Especially with the Remeo sight. I spend a whole lot of time shooting Pocket Pistols and Micro 's and compacts. Kind of like someone shooting Duty pistols and trying out a pocket gun. Large guns like the 320 feel like you are almost shooting a 22.cal. Easy to go through a lot of ammo, especially with a 17rd. magazine.

When I am buying something that comes with more than a 10 rounder in it (for us in UNSAFE Act Land), I just ask them if they will pull the mag before shipping. Yes I have to buy a mag. Sometimes that is the price of doing business. A bigger outfit usually has compliant firearms already in stock.

I have no problem buying some brands of used firearms. However, just my personal opinion I wouldn't buy any Taurus regardless it's label color.
I have had good luck with Sig's, Glock's.

This is not a new program for SIG.
Glock has done it for a real long time. During the bad old AWB years Glock was about the only pistol for which you could find pre-ban mags for -- They gave LE new guns for the old ones, refurbished the guns and resold the "hi cap" mags. I think Glock called them "blue label". I have one in .45ACP from the AWB years, no issues with it.

Blue Label guns are new guns that are sold to officers at a discount price. We are able to buy two a year.

That is the current program, the blue "refurb" label I referred to was the "police" guns resold by Glock during the AWB, it was a very clever work-around to get "hi cap" mags that could be sold to citizens. I wouldn't bet the farm on what they called the program nor do I know if they still do it, but I'm pretty sure the refurb pistols back then had a blue on white band around the grip.

Glock no longer buys back police guns. Now days a Glock Dissipator buys the guns and then sells them. The Officers are given the opportunity to buy the gun they carried.
A Dissipator out of Lafayette LA. Had been doing ours for a few years. As we turned in our guns, we were given the opportunity to buy them then and there. I bought my G22 G3 for $289 when we went to the G4. A few years later when the replaced the G19 G3’s with the G4, a local Police Supply Co. cot the contract. They told officers that they could buy their guns back at the store a week later and tagged the guns with the officer’s name and phone number . A week later the store put the guns on sale to the public. When they ran out of guns to sale, they started pulling tags off of the guns that officers had on hold and sold them. They sold the guns to the public for the same price that the officers were going to have to pay.
A lot of officers were pissed an refuse to do business with that Police Supply store any more.

CDNN Sports now has Red Box Certified Pre-owned Sig P320s in 40 S&W for $349.99. They are Factory Refurbished guns with a one year warranty. They come with Night Sights, two mags and a holster.
I have bought a number of Sig CPO P226's over the last decade (mostly about 8-10 years ago), and they looked/functioned as if they were brand new. I thought think that the Sig CPO program is a good deal, and a smart program by Sig.

I just bought a G22 Gen3 RTF2 (I love me some RTF2) off GB that was a LEO turn-in from GSD - I sure hope that GSD isn't the offending party!

The offending party was Baton Rouge Police Supply.
