This is the first 24 shots fired from my Benjamin marauder and how the pressure holds up for that many shots.

Been a Air gun enthusiast of decades. Sorry, never went to the Dark Side (PCP) am a Springer loyalist. Own quite a few of the Nice German/english guns. All but one Professionally TUNED. However right out of the box, this gun is absolutely amazing.
Terrific accuracy, top end built quality, No need for Pumps, valves, refills, male adaptors, female adaptors and on and on. This gun shoots like a tuned gun right out of the box. Runs around $600. but well worth it.

Sheridan Blue Streak.
.20 Cal of awesomeness
I'll second that! I have a Williams aperture (peep) sight on mine. I don't know how many current eating starlings it's accounted for - our current bushes are behind the garden, about 30 yards from our back door.
I loaned it to a buddy for a couple of weeks last summer. He used it for keeping the tree rat population around his house in check. Seeing how well it worked, he bought one of his own.
Only thing I can fault my Blue Streak for is my wife has to be extremely careful when she pumps it up. She closed the pump handle on one of the protuberances from her chest once.

I have a gamo urban .22 PCP rifle I got for around $250. You get about 30 consistent shots before the air goes to the red zone. It’s an amazing value.

I also bought a budget 300bar air pump online. since I’m more a firearms guy and this is just for quiet plinking I didn’t want to dump cash into it. The pump only cost $50 and had worked very well for me.

For $300 I have a 10 shot rotary mag PCP air rifle that shoots 30 shots on a fill, with a pump

Hi, where did you buy that air pump , I would like to buy some of those for that price

Wildfire With 1077 Wood.jpg
Benjamin Wildfire PCP rifle is $129.99 at Pyramyd Air. It’s cheaper than the hand pump.

edit: actually there's hand pumps for air guns going for $50 on the net. I don't know if any of these things are any good, just did a quick search.

I have a Benjamin Wildfire and the trigger rotates the magazine so it is fairly hard pull and not really smooth so accuracy excludes it from serious pesting IMO. It is fun for target shooting cans and reactive targets fast though if the misses don't bother you to much. I switched the stock with a Crosman 1077W to make it look nicer and have proper heft.

Custom PCP Discovery based.jpg
I keep thinking of a Benjamin Discovery. It is a very well regarded low/mid grade PCP (Pre Charged Pneumatic) rifle. However, you need a plan for charging it. There is the floor pump (a bike similar to a bicycle pump in appearance). There are also some high-pressure electric pumps in the 350-500 range. Of course, as was mentioned, you can also get a high-pressure tank and have it filled locally if that is an option for you.

Concerns about the Discovery are that it is not magazine fed, so follow up shots will be slower. The necessary un-shouldering between shots, to reload, as compared to just working a bolt, may also impact group size. It is also considered quite loud for an air rifle.

I have several Benjamin Discovery that have been modified and are nice shooters. Most of them are pretty good shooters out of the box, but it is fun to customize them because there are so many options available and they are easy to work on. Here is one that shoots 42FPE (it is rather loud about like a .22lr). I started out with a Benjamin Hand pup but have a compressor now.

This is the pump that came with my discovery I unbolted the base and handle and made attachments for it though.
