Can anyone give me an idea of the quality and/or value of a United Sporting Arms Seville 45 Colt?

I know there is some collectibility that might drive the value higher than the quality would account for.

I'd be comparing it to a (Lipsey Flat Top) Ruger Blackhawk, which is the alternative I'd probably end up buying if this doesn't work out

Just to give you an idea of where my thinking is... If I rated the Blackhawk a 1.0 on quality, I'd give a BFR a 1.25 and a Freedom Arms a 2.0

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, the Seville's are susposed to be very finely built, very stout actions. More comparable to a large frame Blackhawk with better fit n' finish, than a flattop.

They're good guns. Quality-wise, probably on par with Ruger but finished a little nicer. The problem is getting parts for them. If it has the Ruger style transfer bar, one can be fitted. The anvil type ignition is tricky.

Not sure about your quality scale but BFR should be closer to FA than Ruger.
