A while ago I purchased my third Dillon press. It was used but not abused. I was going to "flip it" but since it's return from the rebuild, I have changed my mind. This press is like new!! If you are thinking about having your tired press freshened up by Dillon, do it !!! For $130.00 I got a "new press".

They always did mine for free (I did have to cover the shipping to them) but that was years ago, now they just send me the parts for free and I put them on myself.

What press?

They are pretty solid, the primer tube tips are about the only thing I have had to mess with but my oldest Dillon’s are SD’s and they used to use Delrin bushings /strips that needed to be replaced. Still have to do the strips from time to time but the last end links they sent me had oil impregnated bronze bushings in them and they haven’t given up yet.

Do you have any photos of the press since you got it back?

I sent my 650 to them about 15 years ago and they did a very nice rebuild with all the latest upgrades (at that time) for free. Like you I only had to cover shipping to them. Did they change their policy?

I don’t know. Back in the ‘80’s I wondered how a company could last by supporting its products forever even with owners that were not alive when the machine was originally built.

That said, they have a solid reputation and resale value like no other.

I wish they made cars, household appliances, and operated restaurants, that way we could buy one meal and just go back when we are hungry again and eat for free.

Now it costs $79.95 for the rebuild plus the cost of shipping to Dillon. The cost of return shipping is included in the $79.95.

jmorrris, here are some pics. Fhe first one is of the rebuilt one. The other two pics are of the other presses I have. IMG_20190723_190221768.jpg IMG_20190723_185725720.jpg IMG_20190723_185712033.jpg IMG_20190723_185625430.jpg
