Some may call the Left's candidates clueless, dumb, stupid, "liberals", etc., but in today's social and political environment, I wouldn't rule out Biden or one of the others on the Left being elected. Do some choose to forget, the perhaps inconvenient truth, that Hillary Clinton actually did get almost 3,000,000 more total votes than Donald Trump in the last election? And Biden is quite proud in his claim to have authored the '94 "Assault Weapons Ban" and would undoubtedly attempt a more effective ban if given the opportunity,i.e., be elected President.
In any case, the Left will never rest in it's efforts to totally eliminate what it calls the "Gun Culture" in the US. We can look to Europe, Australia, New Zealand,etc. to see how largely successful efforts have been in eliminating private ownership of firearms they disapprove of. Right now the US focus is on "assault weapons", but we know from past experience that to the Left, all guns are evil, and therefor too big, too small, too powerful, hold too much ammunition, are too accurate at long range because they have a scope, a LASER, a light, night sights, fire too rapidly, are not suitable for sporting purposes, and above all else, too easy to lawfully acquire. Any law that would have prevented some of the recent mass shooters from acquiring their weapons, would prevent any of us from lawfully acquiring a weapon....
