Biden vows AWB

I completely agree with Biden, If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun, You don't need an AR-15. It's harder to aim, it's harder to use, and in fact, you don't need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun.

I didn't look but do you have a lot of shotguns for sale in the for sale section ?

Or do you just not like drones ? :what:

At this point, it looks like a Universal Background Check and Red Flag Laws are imminent, especially if we see another shooting and an AWB and Magazine Ban may follow after the election depending on who gets elected.

I would not rule out a Semi-Auto ban as well, again depending on who gets elected.

That's pretty much running the table for the Anti's with no reciprocity or alleviation of the suppressor restrictions.

We need to start turning this around.

Please Volunteer, Donate, activate, Teach, get others involved, Spread the Word, whatever it takes

And let's also please stop attacking those on our side that are attempting to do the same

I think red flags laws are coming, as some places already have them. UBC? I doubt it.

Trump announced today he doesn't see much appetite for bans .... which may be more important in showing where he stands on those issues than how true it actually is.

Hopefully I will never NEED a firearm ever beyond satisfying my safe and responsible enjoyment.

That said if I ever DO NEED a firearm for self defense I will tell you the last thing going thorough my mind will be, gee I’m adequately armed. I say that even should I so happen to be armed with a belt fed light MG.

Point is I personally want a wee bit more wiggle room then 2 rounds of double aught. I mean I suck when I do this for fun so............

Gaff-a-Minute Biden also said if you have a intruder in your house to fire a round into the air .... which will not necessarily stop the bad guy and may incur legal problems for firing a weapon in incorporated residential areas.

If your remark wasn't sarcasm, it was dreadfully poorly informed.

Haha, You guessed it. Other than the initial "I agree with Biden" jab the rest of it is an exact quote from his ***** mouth back in 2013

BUT….. Read this slippery BS very, very carefully:

BIDEN: What I would do is — I would try to — I would institute a national buyback program and I would move it in the direction to making sure that that in fact is what we try to do, get them off the street.

CNN: But that’s not confiscating…

BIDEN: No, that’s not walking into their homes, knocking on their doors, going through their gun cabinet, et cetera.

CNN: So people would be allowed to keep the weapons they already have?

BIDEN: Right now, there’s no legal way that I’m aware that you could deny them the right to have purchased (ph) — legally purchase them.

Did you see what Biden did there?

“Right now, there’s no legal way” to confiscate people’s guns.

Well, of course not. That’s true. Right now, there is no mandatory buyback law. No laws have been passed ordering Americans to give up their weapons.

But it is what Biden did not say that everyone needs to pay attention to…

Biden did not say, “I would never confiscate guns.”

Biden did not say, “I would never force people to give up the firearms they already own.”

In other words, he did not answer the question. He pretended to answer the question because he did not want to answer it.

So all he said was, there is no law currently in place to mandate turning in your weapons … which of course leaves the door open to pass that law, which is exactly what he intends to do.

Unlike Swalwell's plan, Biden's "buyback" would be voluntary. He's made it clear he would grandfather existing weapons.

As you can read in the link I posted, that is because there is YET no law that can require gun owners to turn them in.

Hint, Name two countries that can see the Southern Cross constellation in the night sky ... (Australia and New Zealand).

maybe closer to home: New York, Connecticut ring a bell

how 'bout up north ...

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all of us command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

and then there's this:

WA gov signs 7 new gun bans, confiscation laws

Any non-NFA shotgun is nearly useless in my home, therefore shotguns should be banned, right?

Well that's extra nice of His Lordship, allowing the common peasantry this unmerited benevolence. What a fifedom this fellow will Father over us. All hail, His Grace!

REMEMBER... when HIs Grace' gilded carriage passes, be sure to yell praises as His Grace is well coined, stopping from time to time to toss coin to the crowd.

Alas, I can find no down arrow like ^^ for up, to point towards my sig line...alas...

There would be massive noncompliance with registration. Only a small percentage of AR's would be registered, and those would be for the purpose of having something "official" to take to the range. Gun owners are not stupid. But then neither are the antigunners, who would be aware of this.

A more pernicious tactic by the antigunners would be to bring all semiautomatics under the NFA, with transferability plus a Hughes-like moratorium on further production. Owners would be tempted to register in order to take advantage of the huge run-up in value.

Carrot and stick approach.

That would be the only solution IMO. Actually I'm surprised this hasn't already happened. Weapons bans are not popular. Regulated control is much prefered. I know people who will drop 2K for an AR. Given that fact I think they would register and AR for a few hundred dollars to be able to own it and shoot it. When they stop manufacturing them he doubles or triples his investment overnight if he wants to sell to a dealer.

If congress had its act together adding a new class of rifle (semi-auto) to NFA would be an easy sell to some republican representatives. They could claim it wasn't a ban, just registration. At the same time they could also require the stamp for the purchase of a new rifle. That would require the fee and 6 month wait. Who's going to do that to buy a semi-auto rifle when they already have one or six?
