I switched to Imgur as well, after photobucket went full retard. I thought Photobucket had a better user interface, and I liked how I could organize photos into folders. If Imgur can do that, I haven’t figured out how.

For these monthly challenges, I see no reason to have piles of photos hosted and linked. I just upload directly to the THR server.

actually IMGUR can handle folders - you just have to name them when you upload - it's a bit confusing, as everything shows up - unless you click on the right side menu & select

Well, they have folders... sort of. You can group photos together, so long as you upload them at the same time. But if you can later add photos to an existing folder, I haven’t found how to do it.

Maybe it’s just me.

Hit the range a few days ago to shoot Class 1, 2, and 5. Think I can do better since 115gr Hornady HAP reloads are what I had and my HK barrels seem to prefer 125gr. So I will run some more targets to see if I can improve the scores, particularly for class 2 since the ammo I had wanted to print below the top of the front sight at 25 yards.

So far my class 5 targets have all been well over 90% scores though, so I’m just stat padding.... LOL.

JRadice45 really good shooting what was your sight hold on the targets?

Center hold - Cut the bullseye in half. Top edge of the front sight is the point of impact. I burned through 130 rounds to get those two targets

well duh me I didn't know we could upload direct to THR, thought a photo host was needed.

so image two as shown in the previous page, I went through as much 9mm and still didn't do as good for the SIG 226 and most others.

I've shot a case of ammo doing these damn things LOL

I guess that's what it's for. :D
Gets us to practice, and to know our guns better for bulls eye shooting, and let's others see what others come up . I already knew sight image 3 isn't my best for bulls eye but it helps me confirm where I stand with it, what ammo is best for me, and how to improve. One thing I noticed is on some tries I gripped the gun too tight (squeezing the grip as I squeezed the trigger), or used too much finger and my groups moved sideways because. I still struggle with drive the dot sight image three no matter what though.

I didn't either, but still don't know how to do it..... :uhoh:
when replying or starting a post next to the post reply button there is upload a file button see screen capture attached, you can choose thumbnail or full image Capturethr.JPG

Yes - Sight picture #2.

I was having a hell of a time fighting my urge to heel the shots. Last night was back and bicep night and my arms are still on fire.

I wanted to shoot both classes, and like a knot head only brought two B-16’s... I haven’t shot the G-19 in several years and my first set of class 1 shots went high and the score really stunk . Once I pulled it back in and saw them all sitting above the black I adjusted my aim and my next shots hit the black. These are not great, but are a bit more worthy of posting:

Glock 19
Two hand standing
Win 115 LEJHP

Stay safe.

I'll be posting a Glock 23 in the nere future, you guys with the G19 are putting me to shame lol!

Shot again today but the wind was brutal and blowing me around. Confirmed that 125gr bullets are more consistent in my 2 HK barrels than 115gr bullets. Didn’t have enough ammo to shoot for record on class 1,2, and 5 though.

Did shoot back to back 93/100’s in class 5 one of them a 93 2X... just need a calm day. Hard to come by in the Black Hills.

Since this has 20 rounds fired on it it’s not official but an idea of what I’m dealing with in class 5 at 25 yards off hand. This was shot with my HK VP9 long slide/Aimpoint ACRO P-1. Standing off hand at 25 yards with Nosler 125gr jacketed hollow points over 5.0gr CFE Pistol, lit off with CCI small pistol primers. This was my sighting target since the new load shot to different POI than the 115gr Hornady that I had loaded prior. 60A19803-A93D-42D8-A781-12FDCEF67E91.jpeg

If I’m doing my scoring right and count the two line smudge/breaks at 12:00-1:00 on the 10 ring, then I dropped 14 points out of 200. So 186/200 = 93%.

Doesn’t count. Too many bullet holes.

Nice shooting at 25 coal dragger. I am a fan of long slides, particulalry a 1911 long slide. Much easier to sink the rounds into the black at 25 yards free hand. Must be the sight radius when using irons only.

Well I’m running a red dot sight so sight radius isn’t a factor, but the match fit barrel is. If this pistol had a 1911 trigger it would be easier to shoot well. Probably eliminate the shanked rounds in the 8 ring.

I finally made it back out again. First the Glock 23 shooting .40.
