Hey everyone. First post here. Just picked up a sweet 442 today and I'm looking for some IWB holster suggestions with a clip. Easy on, easy off. I'll be carrying between 3-4. Currrently looking at the Relentless Tactical Ultimate Suede IWB. Looks nice and simple. Wondering what everyone has used and their experiences. Thanks for your help and glad to be here!

I have never seen the one you linked in person, but it looks pretty flimsy.

Any name brand (DeSantis, Galco, triple K, etc.) leather (avoid kydex) holster should serve you well.

Remember, a good holster makes all the difference when carrying. Arguably, its more important than the firearm itself.

Do you have any local shops that would have a few different ones in stock to try out before you buy?

slightly oversized pants will make IWB carry a lot better than just stuffing an extra 1.25" between you and your waste band. if you were a size 38 buy a 40 et cetera.

The DeSantis Summer Heat holster it amazing but it is also a little costly.

I think it's a great holster and it will hold up a good long while too.

The DeSantis Inside Heat holster is also very nice and will cost you less.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking at the Summer Heat one the other day and its definitely on my list. I was initially considering the Sof-Tuck but decided over time, it would lose its luster. The Summer Heat looks like it will age nicely.

There are also a few on Etsy that I'm looking at that are cheaper and look nice:

I carried a 637 to work all the time a while back in a holster that looks similar to that relentless but it was a Galco. It worked pretty well, my job was very physical but the gun didn't move around too much and you could hide it under a t shirt, only the belt clip printed just barely

I like the DeSantis SOF-TUCK IWB holster for my S&W Model 649 and Model 638. Don't forget to find your self a well built, sturdy belt to go with your holster.

Curious if the suede is getting dirty after some use?

+1 on Sideguard. I went with the snap but both are very comfortable. Worth the wait.

Most likely going to be between these two:

and

The quick clip looks bulkier than the mini snap but both look very nice. Don't like the 7-8 week lead time but it is what it is.

Either the snap or clip will work just fine. Simple holster, well made.
+1 on the belt. I use either https://www.facebook.com/RG-Leather-274007459281983/ non reinforced or for heavier guns I want it to be thin but stiff as I can get so http://www.abetterbeltusa.com/products/ look closely at the Buffalo. $$ but you do get what you pay for.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ended up getting a holster from Etsy. Should be in Wed. I’ll post some pictures. Got the belt thing covered. ;)

I use this one for my 642 http://www.sideguardholsters.com/holsters/MinSnap.htm I like it for the offset snap loop

Got my sideguard today. I got the snap version. Totally da bomb.

Very well made, tight on my 642 but I'm sure it will loosen up some.

Absolutely comfortable. I never would have thought I could carry a revolver IWB so comfortably. I could go on a long drive with it just fine.

It was a long wait but worth it. I'm gonna get one for my SP101 next year.
