We both had GP100’s, mine was stainless and hers was blued. I polished and polished on her’s trigger but it never would get as slick as my stainless. On a recent range outing I told her to shoot mine and after a few rounds I could see the look on her face and I knew I lost it. I’ve been carrying the 629 recently so it was no big deal. With my hand me down blued GP100 in hand I hit the LGS. Traded it in for a 686+. Fast forward to Saturday’s range trip and guess what, I got my stainless GP100 back! Happy wife happy life.

My wife will only shoot a few rounds from my nightstand peice a year, just enough to requalify, lol.

But my daughters, on the other hand, are like Viking raiders. The oldest one just took the Mossberg Ive had since I was a kid to her new house, and my youngest has commandeered my 422 and .410 Enfield! :D

Shes got a covetous eye on one of my ARs too.....

I hear you, lol. My youngest daughter is doing a pretty good job of pillaging the gun locker as well........:cuss:

Never lost one to my wife but my daughter is another story. For some reason she thinks that if she uses it to harvest a deer it belongs to her by default. So far she has claimed a rifle from me and a 50 cal front stuffer from her older brother. I told her she can't borrow guns from me anymore. So the other day she tells me I need to pick up a new LC9s. I says "why is that?" She says "I've been carrying yours for a couple weeks now so it's mine."
Good thing she doesn't have the combo for the safe LOL.

Mrs doesnt give a hoot about guns.
#1 son, however, is another story. Just last Sunday I was cleaning some trapguns, a d I couldnt fi d my prized 1100 sporting competition. I finally called him.....yeah it's in my safe, cleaned a d put away. [Along with some of my holsters, scopes, boxes of ammo etc]

The CZ 75b is my favorite 9mm. I made the mistake of letting my wife shoot it in a casual competition. Now I only handle it when cleaning the guns. I might have protested but she outshoots me using it. After several decades of marriage I have learned (usually) when to shut my mouth. Thank goodness she doesn't like my revolvers.

HaHa My son actually brought one of my rifles by and ask me to trade it for another rifle he found at our LGS. What can I say I traded and got the rifle he wanted and haven’t seen it since. LoL

My son has no interest. My wife is a better shot then I. But she never wants to shoot. My daughter loves to shoot her bb pistol (9y/o). Haven't found a range that will let her shoot locally. Grand parents passed away bank took land reverse mortgage. So no more hunting/shooting out there.

I lost a Kimber 45 to my wife, even after I bought her a new Kimber in 9mm. So now I have another 9mm.
Our youngest daughter is about to lay claim to her mom's SR22. That one I will have to find a replacement for.

My daughter loves pillaging my stockpile of ammo and I am all for it! I know she is going to run off with my M-77 and ya know what, I am okay with that. She isn't an AR kinda girl yet but I am sure she will want me to build her one that's purple. Daughters whatcha gonna do...

Does she have a forklift and a truck?

Geez, guys. I have two sons who shoot, do home repairs, and have their own kids, several of whom like to shoot. Right now, if I count correctly, I am "missing" 2 1100s, one a 12, the other a 20, a custom 10-22, a 24v, a LCP, a generator, an impact wrench and who knows what else. The stuff is getting used and it makes me happy. Heck, in a few years I might not be in the picture and won't be able to enjoy watching them enjoy my stuff.
Each year each son gets one or two guns out of the safe.
My wife took over my 36 3" heavy barrel with adjustable sights years ago along with a MK I.
